This week will feature articles by DancngQueen1, Sakkallis, and Amoraten. Please note that the articles were "slimmed down" to 500 characters to fit in the newspaper. For the full report, please visit the Events Community Newspaper's homethread. :)
We have attempted a defferent style of reporting this week, with assigning reporters to your threads. I think this worked out, as we have a promising 5 reports in comparison from last week's 3. :D

• Date: Saturday 24th July 2010 - 6.00pm BST
One of the most popular and sought after event organised by WFE. The Fishing Trawler fishermen/women had to battle the high seas against all odds!
Even Mod Kathy joined forces in an attempt to get the ship safely across the ocean! We all had a fantastic time, played 3 games and made it back on every occasion!
Eat your heart out Murphy, mwahahahaha!!!

• Event: WFE's F2P WFExpress (Conga Line)
• Date: 25th of July
I was lucky to attend the WFE conga line event! The event was epic! We all met at Lumbridge Castle. In the beginning we were only 15 people! Then, after travelling to Varrock, Draynor village and Falador, we were more than 50 people! The Conga Line was enormous! Lot of people were shocked by our line and they start following us. Lot of people were also angry because we... make them lagg

Reporting from the hub of Lumbridge Square, in World 3 many peeps were there. A few asked a question or two, some answered kindly about what to do. Some armour was given kindly away, bronze armour for those who were new and F2P. For such an awesome event, the peeps of Town Sq did present

• Event: ECT's Conga and Cabbage Bombing
• Date: 24th of July
Amo reporting wearing nosepegs! The stench of cabbage bombing drowned the towns of Varrock and Lumbridge. A conger line grew longer over time. A snake sometimes lost its head, but grew back again, longer instead. Great fun and dun, dun, dun- for none escaped the ravages of ECT's cabbages!

• Date: 25th of July
Run round like a madman, falling down them pesky traps. Ticket's galore and agility *rawr*. Someone died (oops!) but their grave was blessed. It was a fun and nicely turned out event.

Hi guys,
I would like to say about my new event idea.
The post is made by Dark Moon x5 but idea is mine :D

Hey everyone!
A friend of mine, Sakkallis has come up with a great event idea! And I am just helping her figure out how many people would be interested in this event, if they could go.
Note: The Date and Time of this event is not set, but if you could go, I'd like to know if you would. !
The event is like a mini Triathlon!
And it's a free to play event that will be held in world 16.
Here is the main idea.
Each competitor gets one hammer and one pic-axe (OF THE SAME KIND)
Each player will get a weapon, of their own choice, remember that this event is f2p to make sure your weapon is too!
They will not be able to buy these. The only way they can make their armor is to mine ore, they they can't get any ore they may have in their banks. Then they will smelt their ore into armor for themselves.
NOTE: They need to make at least 3 parts of an armour like ( scimitar , platebody and kiteshield )
~ If caught in a bank you will be automatically disqualified from the event! ~
After you have shown a judge your armor and weapon, you must fish an inventory of salmon/trout and then cook them.
Then trade a judge to confirm you have caught and cooked a full load.
Then they will go to the 3rd level of stronghold of security and kill 30 spiders.
Say 40 people do this event, they will be split into say 8 teams of 5, the winner of each team advances.
There would then be 8 people left, they would be split into 2 groups of 4, then 1 group of 2, then the champion chip.
Tell me what you think and tell me if you would like to attend. Sakkallis will plan this event in greater detail with the feedback I can collect from you!
As well, welcome to the forums Ffx!

• Event: Town Square Q&A
• Date: Thursday, July 29th, 2010
Today, I attended a Town Square Q&A, hosted by PrincesSeuss. We had appearences from Amoraten, and a whole lot more!
Being a member, answering the questions was mediocre. Some of the questions were "I see people holding books, where are they from?" (I got that one. ;) ), and lots about Phoenix partners.
Overall, it was a very fun experience, I suggest everyone attend at least one. :)
