Question: My skilling and combat level is higher than the other members, why isn’t my rank higher.
We do not rank on the basis of your skills. We rank on the basis of your contribution to our Community, details of which are posted above
Question: Why should I join Equinox?
Our existing community is warm and friendly, and generally know each other very well. This helps to welcome new players into a friendly environment to make them feel comfortable and able to discuss anything Runescape related.
We are not a huge clan or community where your voice will not be heard, because of our size we value our members very highly and generally become very good friends. Some players who have left Equinox to join other Communities always ask to come back after a period given that in comparison they find our Community to be more tolerant, friendly, and funny and kind compared to our clans and Communities out there
Question: I want to join a big clan is Equinox one of those?
No! We do not wish to be a large, unwieldy Community. We strive to be a moderately sized Community who can provide each member with support and friendship, and to hold quality and unique events. Our Equinoxclan chat is open all anyone, and during Events does get much busier than usual.

Question: What is so different about your Events?
They are generally accompanied by a story/funny poem on our Events thread (they are held weekly) and some of the more unusual Events which are held approximately once a month have a script, a generally designed to test players ability in solving clues and may have funny jokes posted throughout the Event (for example see Event thread at top of page)

Question: I will only join if you make me a Captain or a Leader. Otherwise I will not join your Community.
The people who have achieved these ranks have done so after a long period of service to Equinox and are trusted and respected members of the Community. Unfortunately if you have this type of attitude we would suggest that you join a clan or Community which ranks on the basis of your Runescape Statistics. We will not and do not agree with this form of ranking- we believe a low level player is just as valuable as a high ranking one
Question: Is Equinox Free to Play and Pay to Play?
Yes- we try so far as possible to include Free to Play events in our calendar, and have several existing Free to Play members already. We have no requirements to join Equinox that you be Pay to Play.
Question: I have an idea for an event! Can I suggest this?
Yes! Provided there are enough people in Equinoxclan chat then we very often will take part in impromptu star finding, evil tree, and other minigame events! If you have an idea for an organised event you can post the idea either here or on our Equinox Events thread as mentioned in the first post
Question: There was no-one in Equinoxclan chat when I joined in
Do not despair! We do tend be busier in the evenings (GMT) and at weekends, if you are struggling to contact us please use the forum link here and we will respond to you in-game and on the forums as the case may be

-just post your favourite type of event! I won't post a list!
-give your favourite three types! We will use the results to plan future Equinox events too :)
-3 points for favourite, 2 points for 2nd fav and 1 point for 3rd (you get the picture)

2.1 After the Clown Hunt we shall assemble in Varrock Square to allow everyone to bank all their items
2.2 Players can then purchase or steal (tut tut) cups of tea from the tea stall
2.3 Players should only wear monk robes (and have no more than 3 valuable items in their inventory given that death is likely to be a certainty)
2.4 Plenty of warning will be given before we set off in a walking train to level 55 wildy (some of us never to be seen again!)
2.5 For those who get to have tea with the Chaos Elemental and don’t survive (or do as the case may be), the next event will then take place at the Pest Control

3) Pest Control
Time to unleash the fury and get your own back after the problems with the Chaos Elemental! We shall be boarding as a Clan shortly after the Chaos Elemental and allowing sufficient time for all to gather their weapons and make their way to the island. As a mark of respect to all players that attend we shall we boarding on the lowest level boat so that any combat level can enjoy the last event

4) Finally…..

Equinox's "Chillin’ Skills and Fally Drop!” (F2P and P2P Event)
“Two teams face each other-
Brother against brother.
Time to have some fun,
On the banks of the River Lum…”
Hello and a very warm welcome! The idea of this event is simple! The event comprises:-
1) A skilling competition
2) 1 million coins (plus) Falador Party Drop

We shall arrange to have two teams competing against each other in the skilling stakes for the most experience in a specific F2P skill (there may be more than one skill involved). The skilling stakes competition will last approximately two hours.
After the skilling competition has ended, we shall assemble in Falador Party Room and Equinoxclan will drop 1 million coins (plus) into the Fally chest coffers!
We shall have a very quick play/cutscene at the start of the event and explain the rules about the skilling event.
Two teams will be chosen in rotation by the two leaders, and the skill which we will competing for will be announced by Weapon Jack
Prizes will be handed for the best skilling team, and individual prizes will also be handed out at the event

Date: 7.30pm GMT Sunday 6th December 2009
Start: Lumbridge Town Square
Requirements:-Basically none! Any skill level!

You can wear whatever you feel most comfortable in
Event Leaders will be dressed as mimes and clowns

---There may even be an unfortunate forfeit for the losing team’s leaders so the leaders of Equinoxclan will have more than personal pride at stake! (One hour churning butter/or one hour of running rune hehe )
