Well guys, what more is there to say? Spell, Dave and Will have pretty much summed it up for me on the previous page.
Nevertheless, while you all express gratitude to me for putting in time and effort to run N.W.F., the simple fact of the matter is that this event doesn’t even take place without all of you. The fact that twenty odd people still turn up to take part in an online federation I run makes me incredulous to this day.
I loved this business, I love this business and I’ll continue loving this business even though I’ll no longer be hands on. Loyalty is the trait I value the most out of anything… so to have received such commitment to both myself and this organisation from all of you is one of the best things I’ve ever been given.
From a guy who’s turned up to one event, all the way to the legends who’ve been here from show number one to our final show, you’ve all contributed to this company and you’ve all allowed it to be successful. I’ve enjoyed myself over the past seven years through all the highs and lows and the acrimonious exits and shocking returns. I’ve been rivals with most of you and friends with all of you… but most of all we’re brothers when we step in that arena.
In 2007 I promised ‘New Revolution Wrestling’. We’ve innovated, electrified, shocked, angered, reduced people to tears, made names, brought excitement and comedy and, most importantly, inspired passion and loyalty. I’ve always been one for speaking my mind, and a lot of the time that’s resulted in conflict, but I mean this when I say it:
You are all the heart and soul of this company. And we definitely brought ‘New Revolution Wrestling’.
Thank you all for being apart of the N.W.F. and for the best send off show I could ever have envisaged. This won’t be the last time I speak to all of you, but for those people who are leaving, it’s an honour for me to wish you the best in the future.
Long live the National Wrestling Federation and long live RuneScape Wrestling.
Edward
