It's not just you. I started having this exact same problem January 22nd around midnight EST. I've seen at least 1 other person as well in this forum with the same problem so if there are 3 of us with it, you can be assured there are many more. Mine started with the game freezing, logging me out, & then not letting me log in again by repeatedly cycling through the email/password/verfifcation code.
UPDATE: I fixed my problem.
1.) I Removed the Jagex Launcher & the Runescape Launcher from my computer.
2.) Used the CCleaner app to fix any broken registries.
3.) Reinstalled the Jagex Launcher (Don't use the Jagex Launcher to install the Runescape Launcher, it kept giving me an error message)
4.) Go to Runescape.com, click the Download button at the top & scroll to the bottom & click "Game Direct Download". This will DL the Runescape Launcher.
5.) Now restart the computer & then open the Jagex Launcher.
After these steps, my problem went away & I could log in with the Jagex Launcher.
