Stuck on Loading app resources

I know a lot of people are experience this, the client getting stuck on "Loading application resources." I've tried ever trick in the book that has fixed this for me in the past.

Mostly just wondering if Jagex is aware and if there is an ETA on when it'll be fixed.

Here I am having this for the first time and it stil isnt fixed, I tried deleting everything from runescape and reinstalling,, true steam exact the same and then I tried true some code I found on reddit and even that dident work crazy thing is I can play oldschool just not RS3...

Realy terrible that a bugg like this exists for years now and stil isnt fixed probb never will.

I am sad and mad so RUNESCAPE fix ur stuff!

I did the same thing. Just wanted to tell you that OSRS also works for me.

My graphic drivers also are up-to-date and this is a relatively new computer, so i don't think the issue is my specs. I cleared cache. I tried running compatbility mode. I tried changing my network or using VPN.

The only thing that worked was starting RS on an older PC which i don't usually use anymore, and I was able to login once that way (but i don't use that for gaming anymore).

I am having this problem since 31 August 2022 it seams I am not alone, I too have tried everything that has bean mentioned hear.

I have deleted the client flushed the dns removed all Jagex folders and still no go, then re-installed the client and still the same stuck on loading app resources.

It worked perfect on the 24th of August so what have Jagex done ?

I too have the issue on a Mac which started for me on September 7; tried all the recommended fixes. Tech support has indicated they are working on the issue. I happen to have two machines on which I play and the ONLY difference I can detect is that the one that doesn't work has the Runescape application modified date of August 2020. The machine that is still ok (up to this point) has the Runescape application modified date of April 2017. Not being overly familiar with why that would be, I've reported it to tech support.

Answer: Re-enable Full Disk Access for Runescape. Settings > Security and Privacy > Privacy > Full DIsk Access. Checkbox beside Runescape.

When you perform Mac OS update it resets permissions for security reasons.
