The issue thread about this already claims a reason being people forcing AF in the GPU control panel.

If you're doing that or forcing any graphics settings other than letting the Application specify it, stop being silly and turn it off.

I am not forcing anything. AF is an option in the game's graphics setting, so it should work when it is turned on. Otherwise it should not be there.

Besides, why should I turn AF off? It is an option I have on my graphics card that make things look better, so of course I want that turned on. It is not my fault that some programmers make their graphics in a way that doesn't support it. What's next? Turning anti-aliasing off, turning colors off, turning lighting and shadows off, only supporting 640x480 graphics mode, because graphic drivers make things look wrong otherwise?

Garbage. Support AF like any other game out there.

Jagex didn't change the game. Nvidia updated their driver, which causes an issue with Intel, and that issue applies to all kinds of Windows using Nvidia anisotropic filtering, not just RS3.

I have not updated any driver on my PC, so I don't know what you mean by "Nvidia updated their driver". It is not something that has ever reached my machine.

This problem came after the latest update Jagex did to the game, so how can you say they didn't change it? They made an update, didn't they? And they even said in the update that they changed the graphics, made it more simple, sped it up etc. This is where they messed up. It has nothing to do with any change to a driver, because my driver hasn't changed.

Did you update Windows or Intel? When you install new Windows/Intel updates, they affect behaviors of all kinds of devices including Nvidia too. Please read this Jagex statement again:

"The issue is related to a possible driver issue on Intel + Nvidia Laptops with Graphical Switching Technology.

It is related to Nvidia anisotropic filtering."
