Mac Steam Client Ban? Thread is locked

Alright, I just went through Secret of the North, sans the boss battle, with only OSRS and the Activity Monitor running, with the irrelevant exception of Chrome being opened up automatically for the "Welcome back" message on login, which I immediately closed and stopped Chrome. Only said that for the sake of me otherwise saying "no other apps running" being technically incorrect otherwise. No new blackmarks have appeared, though I have only played for a few hours.

I didn't see anything suspicious in the Activity Monitor, mostly normal OS stuff and the Adobe Creative Cloud processes that aren't associated with an active app.

From now on I will continue playing with no other apps open for extra safety, but I don't think keeping Activity Monitor running will help any further.

It is what it is. I hope nobody else ends up or has ended up in a similar situation.

There's been a lot said here and I admit I didn't read it all so if I'm out of line with the following suggestion then please ignore me. You might try asking Mod Twisted on Twitter what's going on. It seems that J-mod has been giving out a bit more information about bans as mentioned here by Ms Ana .

Yeah, I'm aware of both Mod Twisted and Mod Trident (though Trident is less active) and have tried both Twitter and Reddit with no response. I'm actually kinda weirded out by how much detail he gives out some times, but Twisted has only given a few replies in the past few months to what looks like thousands of total requests. I might try again at some point, especially now that I'm less laser-focused on the "Steam on outdated Mac" theory.
