Hi there,

First off I want to say that this forum has been a great resource for improving my recovery attempts, I now consistently make it through auto-denial.

I lost access to the e-mail and forgot the password to my account after taking a longer break and would love to get back into the game.

My requests consist of:
-Creation date, location and ISP
-Date, location and ISP of moving (I used a VPN there, so might not be as helpful here)
-Billing info e.g. ID's, Post Code, Emails, Dates of earliest/longest purchases (Billing Post Code/e-Mail were the only two things the denied requests specifically mentioned are missing)
-My main account and the interactions with it
-Submitted from the device I created / played the account on.
-Previous passwords (I'm really unsure about these but no auto denial)

My questions:
1.)I have since moved again, same country, making it unfeasible to submit the request from any previous locations.
I could however remotely access a computer at the location of creation and submit it that way. This would happen on a trustworthy device I have not used before . Would this help strengthen the request?
2.)My next request will focus on associated acc's/display names can I stop including all the Billing info?
3.)I can offer much earlier information about other accounts of mine, that have a clear link to the one I'm trying to recover. Can I use this information to my advantage?

I appreciate your commitment and would be happy about any advice or opinions you can share :) .

Have a good one!

Hi there
Dazed 4Days

If you are getting recovery past the auto deny stage, the next thing to focus on is the information you are putting into 'Other Comments' and the recovery questions (if you have them).

Other Comments should be used to list:
* display names of other accounts you own (so Jagex can crosscheck ownership links)
* address changes during the life of the account (town/country only. If you live in USA, it needs to be town/state/country)
* emails you have had linked to the account
* additional payments you want to mention

Using a VPN backfires on you when you want to do a recovery.
Geolocation is important when a JMod is checking the recovery and VPN use makes it harder to geolocate the account to its true owner.

Your questions:
1) you could try the remote access and it might work to strengthen your recovery
2) billing info needs to be the earliest for the account even if you don't have a full record like a transaction id. You don't have to mention ALL the payments you made, just the earliest.
3) no, Offering any more than a display name of another account isn't useful.

Hi Malua,

I am unsure where to go from here. I included all the points you mentioned and am certain my requests are making it to the manual review stage.
I have now had a total of 15 requests denied and don't get any feedback on them.
I now send them from the same network I created the account on ISP remained the same.

Any further tips on this issue?

Hi, Dazed 4Days.

First of all, please follow Malua's advice as it's top-notch.

Whenever an account recovery appeal is denied, you receive an email with a response from Jagex. Within this email, you will find some feedback from Jagex on what to improve on for your next recovery attempt. It's highly suggested that you take a good read and follow the advice/tips/suggestions that are enumerated in the email messages.

Additionally, you are also welcome to read this for further guidance: Account recovery denied .

Hi Mrs Ana,

thank you for your answer!
I will submit another request using precisely only the information asked for in the mail.
I have included this information in past requests but maybe using that exact form is key.

I will report back :)

Hi Mrs Ana,
I have followed your advice and submitted a request closely following the instructions in the email.

It was denied again and I have in turn received the same generic email as always.

The email asked me to provide further information on payments and list Credit Cards, PayByPhone and Cash as examples. I haven't used any of these, is it a hint regardless?

Closing in on 20 requests :/

Yeahhh, ... that you still want to hide yourself from Jagex/JMods.
Incoherent recovery requests never are successful.

Hi 2_Tron,

in my requests I give concise information regarding Account creation (City/Country/ISP/Date)
where I moved (City/Country/ISP/Date). My earliest transaction (ID/Method/email/zip/full name) + additional transactions.
I mention associated accounts and interactions.

This is pretty much all the information I see being suggested on here and frankly all the information I can think of. I do not see what might indicate a lack of coherency except that my requests keep getting declined.

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated :)

Hello,

I have now submitted a total of 21 requests. The last 6 have been sent from the location of creation.
I have given all the information suggested in this thread and this thread by another user.
My requests are denied after 8-24h and the responses do not ask for any information, that I have not already provided and do not change no matter what info I enter.

Would it be possible, to have this case reviewed in a similar fashion as the user in the thread I linked? In that case the display name is: Infrugal

In any other event I am really not sure what more information there is to give.

How much VPN use did you have while playing your account? Was it significant?
As I said earlier, VPN use can backfire on a player if account recovery is needed.

So, you are now sending recovery from the creation address. You include quite a bit of the creation information and passwords and are submitting enough to get you past the auto-deny stage.
The reasons for the deny always ask about payment information. The information requested has changed a bit during your many recovery attemtps but is still always about payments.

I will flag your Infrugal account but please note that flagging the recovery isn't a shortcut through the system. I have a feeling the player in the other thread you mention didn't succeed in their recovery. Yes, I flagged their account and yes, two JMods checked but it didn't improve their chances.
