It would be better to start your own thread, rather than piggy back on someone else's thread.

Make sure you are logging out of the Jagex Launcher completely before trying to log in with your Jagex Account. You cannot be logged in to the launcher with a Jagex Account and unimported Runescape accounts at the same time. Glad to be of service

The "Play" button in the Launcher should change to an "Install" button. Click that to re-install the game client, then try clicking Play again. Glad to be of service
