They do pertain to this situation though. The situation is that, until somebody that actually works at Jagex can prove otherwise, there is a hole somewhere in Runescape's 2fa that other 2fa implementations don't have, and the more visibility that can be brought to that the more likely we can either get a fix, or at the very least a real response from a Jagex employee.

@archerarchr ~ Yes, there is a hole. It's that every account a person has linked to their RS account - registered email, Steam, Google, Apple, etc... needs to also be secure & have reliable 2fa in place, which is not something Jagex can do. Only the player can do that. Thus, please do not continue to post incorrectly that the situation is Jagex's problem.
