Corporeal Beast & Spirit Shields
After weeks of gathering feedback and months of players asking, content poll #25 will be offering Corporeal Beast as an addition to Old School. Corporeal Beast will offer a challenge above any of the other bosses that currently exist in Old School and will bring a bit more variety to Old School's end-game content.
Question : Should the Corporeal Beast be added to Old School?
The signature drops that we will be offering from Corp will be the Spectral, Arcane, Elysian and Divine sigils. When used with a blessed spirit shield the sigils would create the Spectral, Arcane, Elysian and Divine spirit shields.

Special effect : The Divine spirit shield has a 100% chance of reducing the damage you receive by 30%. Your prayer points are drained for 50% of any damage that is negated.
Along with the option of introducing the sigils and spirit shields we will be offering a slightly reworked Divine spirit shield due to concerns voiced by some players.
The reworked Divine
The reworked Divine spirit shield that we will be offering alongside the original will have the damage reduction effect lowered to 25% . This is the only difference between the original and the reworked Divine.
Question : Should the Spectral, Arcane, Elysian and Divine sigils and spirit shields be introduced with the Corporeal Beast with the same stats used when they were originally released in 2008?
Question : If the spirit shields are introduced, should the Divine spirit shield's damage reduction effect be lowered to 25% from 30%?
Iron Man Mode
With B0aty and Iron Faux leading the way with iron men, an official iron man mode has caused lots of excitement since the possibility was mentioned by Mod Pips. We've been looking at how we can achieve this and now it is time to talk to the community about what we can do.
What we tried to achieve with iron man mode was a gameplay mode where you leveled because of your own efforts rather than relying on other players. To make this a robust system we had to look at every area of the game where you could benefit from another player's input and decide whether that interaction fell within the realms of what an iron man should be. We had to look at every area of wealth transfer or possibility of increasing a player's XP due to the action of another as if there was just one method available to players it would mean it would be possible to cheat as an iron man.
The most difficult area to look at was minigames, we looked at each and thought that if you had to play a part in the minigame it would be fine to continue to use it. However, if you could leech from the minigame for a tangible reward, we would not allow access. For example, you can hide in the corner of fight pits and let your friends kill each other to gain tokkul but on pest control there is a minimum amount of activity required to get zeal so you would be able to play that.
Here are the rules of iron man mode.

No trading other players (other than for the Shield of Arrav and Heros quests).

No picking up items dropped from other players (including PvP)

No PvP XP

Not able to pick up loot from monsters unless you do the most damage to it

Auto-aid button is permanently off

Cannot use an altar in another player's PoH

Only allowed to buy items which cannot be made or gathered as a resource from shops

Cannot use nightmare zone, fishing trawler or fight pits,

No staking
- Cannot use minigame teleports
In game iron man accounts will have access to a unique outfit which they can wear while they are an iron man and when they talk they will have a new icon next to their chat. On top of that there will be a separate hiscores for iron man accounts.
At anytime you will be able to stop being an iron man. Your progress on the iron man hiscores will be frozen and you will not be able to turn your account back into an iron man, so you need to be sure before you do it.
Of course, we don't want to have just an iron man mode, we want an ultimate iron man mode too. The ultimate mode will be the same as normal iron man but with a few extra rules.

As with the normal iron man accounts, ultimate iron men will have access to their own outfit, have their own hiscores and have a unique item next to their name when they chat.
Question : Should we introduce an iron man mode? Players creating new accounts would be able to enable iron man mode when on Tutorial Island, this would restrict their account in several ways and would add to the challenge of Old School.
Other Questions
Question : Should a toggle be added to prevent the "user has logged in/out" messages from disappearing?
Question : Should the high alchemy value of the adamant platebody be increased from 7680 coins to 9984 coins to create a viable alternative to superheating for smithing training?
Question : Should Wyson, the NPC who converts mole skins and claws into birds nests, be changed so that he converts all mole skins and claws at once as well as accepting them in noted form?
Question : Should the click-zone size for ladders within the Waterbirth Island dungeon be increased?
Question : Should the click-zone size for the "Strange floor" Agility short-cut trap be increased?
Question : Should an entrance be added to the back of the Lumbridge castle courtyard leading out into the forest so that you do not have to run all the way around?
Question : Should a right-click travel option be added to the Void Knight in Port Sarim (who takes you to the Void Knight outpost) and the sailor in Rellekka (who takes you to Miscellania)?
Question : Should player owned house portals show the previously entered name when joining a friends house?
