Majority of the players that are voting no for this update are voting no for one main reason.. they can't afford the shields so why bother making them more envious than they are of rich players?

Anywhom. I will vote yes for this update because i want that divine. I also want NEX in the game for torva. I miss those good old days where i used to **** kids because my armor was OP :) #CL

I'm going to have to vote no in their current forms, 25% damage reduction is just too much when good teams can already trio bosses for hours at a time.

It'll also get abused in PVP so unless the alch value is drastically reduced so people can't just protect them on death I just don't want them in game.

I would first off say that I am not an oldschool player. But I do follow oldschool quite a lot, even more then rs3. The comments on this thread that are making me wanna slap that person irl is these people:

1. " I'm going to vote no".
Ok, I respect ur opinion, but like seriously these people give no explanation or reasoning whatsoever. They just say no for the simple fact that a) they didn't bother reading this, b) don't have skill reqs and/or is too poor to afford one. c) just a troll who wants to see this game die. So that annoys me.

2. "Wow this is becoming eoc again."
Errrrr, what??? So bringing in a item that gives variety and is challenging makes it eoc? Last time I checked, eoc was a complete rework of how combat works. So tell me how spirit shields rework the whole combat. Some kids in the community find it so easy to just say things like, this is becoming eoc, or, this is supposed to be oldschool. Adding something that came a year later makes it eoc?

3. " gf pvp and pvm, welcome back to easy scape.
Yall are acting as if mod mat k is gonna go around dropping these things like with rares. These things are hard to come by, so come back in 2 years then complain there's too many ingame.

Conclusion: this community is afraid of change cuz of what happened with eoc. You've got a great group of j mods on the oldschool team. Start trusting then more. They know what's best for the future.

its op.. destroys dfs and devalues the game and crashes the dfs......also its boring and copied from another game....

it is not original content and will not please those who want new content rather then something they've already seen so its nothing to exciting.
