Just put in the Dragondefencer @the Warriors guild as a normal drop
This is just so stupid.

You forcing all the players to Go pking in bh. While we dont pk for a reason.

And stop doing such stupid pk/bh updates.
There are not even much pkers/bhers

Are you serious? all these people saying you're forced to PK for D Defender; you CANNOT trade the defender, what you buy is essentially a ticket to have the CHANCE at a defender from the BH store, or straight up from another player; you still get the defender from the Warriors Guild

So in the end you have to PVP or buy from someone who does just for a CHANCE to get a dragon defender? No way in hell.

Just put the cyclops boss in the warriors guild and let us access it by normal means, not this BH crap being shoveled down PvE players' throat. I'm regretting my yes-vote for BH already, that is the last time I vote for content I won't use.

We currently do the same thing anyways, we sit there slaving away at tokens for a couple of hours to have the CHANCE at a defender, the difference here is money is involved in the last stage in defenders

Difference is you do PVE for the other tokens, and for the dragon defender "token" you'd have to do PVP, and I wouldn't touch runescape PVP with a five feet long stick.

Tbh i agree the dragon defender shouldn't be linked with this, its tradition that the defenders stay incorporated within the warriors guild. Other rewards seem alright, definitely think of some more enticing ones though.

So because you're bent on never PvPing this is not how a new piece of content should be introduced? I can respect the fact you don't want to PvP, but they added an alternative way to get it. I don't think it's fair that one of the best shield slot items is meant to come in the game from something that is essentially free.

I hate to do this, but I admit I was wrong! I completely believed that Bounty Hunter was a waste of dev-time, and could be placed better elsewhere. I am looking at the rewards and see incentives all over! I truly want to PK and be rewarded for doing so! This is beginning to look very promising. Thank you staff.

I have one suggestion:
Abyssal Whip / Abyssal Tentacle: Upgrade - An option to add a "Strength" style to the Abyssal Tentacle was polled, but failed by a few percent. This was a true loss for lead PK'ers! The fear was that this would devalue Saradomin Sword's value due to players training with whips. As we can see now; no one uses Abyssal Tentacles to train! It is far too costly to do so. If we are going to upgrade the Saradomin Sword to Abyssal Tentacle standards, why not add an upgrade to re-offer this? Of course, whips will still offer the shield slot, so why not make the Sword upgrade last longer? Or be a fairly cheap to buy reward in the shop, thus making it a cost efficient upgrade for training use and keeping the Whip as a "must have" in your PK arsenal?

Thank you for your time & considerations.

Wouldn't that completely kill the Saradomin Sword upgrade? As it's supposed to be comparable to the level 75 variant of the abyssal whip. You might as well as make the Saradomin sword 1 handed while you're at it.

Jone1492,

No. I am aware of what I am offering. I wish to do the following, either:

1) Saradomin Tear is fairly cheap in the BH Rewards Shop
2) Saradomin Tear is medium cost upgrade, but offers a much higher degrade period than the Abyssal Tentacle.
3) Saradomin Tear is a permanent upgrade. The Saradomin Sword is no longer tradable and will degrade after 10 hours of combat. Once the Saradomin Sword is broken a player must pay "X" amount of coins to an NPC to fix it. = Cash Sink + Item Sink.

If any of these are done here is what I have effectively managed. The Saradomin Sword after upgrade is now at Abyssal Tentacle standards. The Saradomin Sword is now cost effective to use during training, unlike the Abyssal Tentacle. Thus, it is now fair to upgrade the Abyssal Tentacle to have a STR option. By doing so, players will begin using their Saradomin Swords to train and do slayer, and will use Abyssal Tentacles for PvP. Although Saradomin Sword is 2h, the longevity and extra stats dictate its worth and keep both in value.

I hope this is fair. I really would like an Abyssal Tentacle upgrade re-offered. It seems appropriate now. The original poll to add STR to the item failed by only a few percent. This may be a chance to turn the tables?

I would like if you guys could consider adding more then 10k hits to the Sara sword upgrade. The current price of Sara sword is around 2.8m-3m. With how expensive it is I can't see anyone use this unless you increase the amount of hits to 17-20k or you give it a very very good special attack.

Thanks for reading!

I do like the thought of a useful special attack. There is no real value to the current special attack... sadly a lot of weapons suffer this.

Note: Abyssal Tentacle had a slightly upgraded special attack. Although it is still useless... It now binds 5 seconds and increases poison probability. Abyssal Whip's special attack only drains Run Energy, if I remember correctly...
