Hello, I usually keep ideas to myself, but after reading the new dev blog I thought you could do with some pvp-based ideas.
Feedback is appreciated.


===VENGEANCE SCROLLS===
These scrolls are bought from the shop (10) at he price of 10 vengeance-casts runes and one emblem. They would work exactly the same way as vengeance spell works: Need 94 mage to use and must wait 30 seconds to use them again. But they would save 2 inventory spaces and can be clicked to use, removing the need to switch to the mage tab.
They would also only work with lunar spellbook.
(If this idea passes, Ice barrage and teleblock scrolls could be added)


=== POISON POTIONS===
There are many antipoison potions, many weapon poisons, but there's no way of improving your venenous abilities. What about a potion that increases your poison damage by 2? (Your dds would poison the target hitting 8 each time!). To make things even better, any poison done by a player with the potion WON'T LOWER OVER TIME. It will dissapear after 2 minutes, but it won't do the 8-7-6-5...
As an additional cost, drinking the potion would also poison the player (i'd say by 4) drinking an antipoison will terminate any poison effects caused by the player.

If buying the potion directly is not liked, you could buy a secondary ingredient from the shop and add a lvl 70 potion with cadantine or any underused herb.

===ROGUE CROSSBOW===
In order to make ranged more suitable figthing with AND figthing AGAINST.
The Rogue c'bow can use the same bolts as a rune crossbow, but with lesser accuracy bonus. What is it good for then? It would have one more speed bonus than the rune c'bow, making it whip speed on rapid mode.

What would this fix?
- C'bow price should be 300k'ish
- Rangers would have to risk something in order o use d'bow/ags combo (no 1k msb, 10k rune c'bow)
- It would be more fair for rangers since you could only eat once between each hit.
- Rangers would be more desirable to fight since they might risk a semi-expensive bo

NOTE: When setting Rogue c'bow accuracy, it's Damage income should be the same, if not less, than a rune crossbow, armadyl c'bow is still the highest dps ranged weapon.


If it's needed to make the c'bow price stay over 100k, make it degradable.


===Curse Sapphire===
Use it on a ring of recoil to make it hit twice as much. Wether that ring should do 80 damage or stay at 40(and lasting 50% as a normal one) would be based on the cost of this reward.

===Rings of Retribution/Redemption===
The smite amulet is a great idea! Why don't we use them to give some use to two hardly used prayers?

The ring of Redemption could be a ring of life improvement, making your health go to 100% and you will keep up to 10% of your pray points, destroying the ring on the process.
The ring of Retribution would make twice as much damage when dying with retribution enabled. The ring shouldn't be consumed. Could be a dstone ring improvement

===Sea Gloves/Amulet===
(polemical?)
Maybe add one, maybe add both. Price should be arround 75k'ish (for one if you only need one, both if you need both).
While the provide no attack or def bonuses whatsoever, they allow you to attack a player with a trident of the seas.
It would be a good balance to magic pvp.
I thought of gloves since this will make you unable to use rfd gloves, making it harder to switch styles.
Then again, i think amulet slot should also be used, so you can't use with an occult necklace.

Notes: The trident would need at least 1,000 charges to use it against another player, adding additional risk if you choose not protecting trident (using ags, for example)

===Glaiven boots===
(I'm terrible @ making names, don't name them glaiven lol)
This should be expensive, we need rewards that are worth some really high level emblems.
These boots, requiring level 75 defence and level 75 ranged (so ranger boots are still used by pures) increase your ranged damage by 5%. They would be the only ranged damage boosting in the game (apart from void). Great for training, great for pvm.



===Spikes===
Figther hat, torso, fire cape, rune gloves, climbing boots, ammy of str, rune def... A Player can easily get a very good melee pvp setup only using untradeable and welfare items...
but one thing is always there, the rune platelegs. Why not give us the chance to improve these boring rune platelegs?
How? adding spikes. spike prices should be ~ 20k and you could add a maxium of 5 spikes to these items:
Rune platelegs. Each spike increases its attack (no str, only stab/slash/crush) and defensive bonus by +1, up to +7 (+2 bonus) if 5 are added.
Dragon platelegs. Each spike increases its attack and defensive bonus by +2, up to +15 (+5) bonus if 5 are added.
Black *'hide Body. Each spike increases ranged attack bonuses by +2 and defence bonus by +3.

So in return we get: The chance of a higher risk even if using untradeables, and doing higher risk fights without losing att/str bonus.
A new use for an almost useless item (Dragon platelegs, its current price is ridiculous!)
A suitable alternative to pking void, a stronger black *'hide body.


NOTE: Spiked items will degrade every 30 minutes and need to be repaired for a low cost (1 spike could be the price?) to avoid using them outside pvp (you can't bring them far if you need to charge them every 30 mins..)

No it's not. Dfs is +7 strength, that is best.


Offense = Strength and attack


Attack accuracy is still luck based, and means nothing when you're 99 attack fighting against someone with low defense such as 1-45.

Most people care about strength bonus, not accuracy because the difference is visible in higher numbers unlike with attack you never know.

OOH! Suggestion #3.

Perhaps you could add another item-degrading item for the occult necklace. Maybe you can give the necklace an additonal 5% boost to damage or something and in the end it consumes the amulet.

Support, occult necklace is soooo cheap now.

Considering the ring of influence isn't receiving much disagreement, why not also add a ring that doubles the special effects of all magic spells excluding Ice spells?
This would make entangle freeze for 30 seconds, stun/etc. reduce combat stats much more, blood spells to siphon more health from your opponent, etc.

Agreed, some spells are simply ignored because ice blitz and barrage have the freezing effects and highest damage.
