From what I've read..

The axes need more incentive to use, they seem like a down-grade atm.

1. Slower rates if making tertiary items. (Less logs, looking at you iron peeps.)
2. Irreversible. (C'mon guys..)

Despite extra % exp, you guys haven't SOLD the idea, smells like dead content to me.

• At this rate they might as well be cosmetic...

Edit: I'll stick to the regular axes if you don't mind.

It's great to see that the Old School RuneScape team is actively listening to player feedback and making adjustments to the Forestry: Part Two update based on that feedback. Here's a summary of the changes and decisions that have been made:

Leaf Effects & Teas: The leaf effects and the ability to craft them into teas are being completely removed from the update. The feedback indicated that these effects were too detached from the core skills and added unnecessary complexity to the game.

Campfires: While the team briefly considered keeping campfires for their social experience, they will be removed due to feedback. However, the bonfire effects for Firemaking will be kept, and the cap for logs that can be added will be removed.

2H Axes: The experimental 2H Axes will remain in their current form for players to provide feedback on. The team is open to tweaking the mechanics and ration usage based on player testing.

Sawmill Vouchers: The team is discussing whether these vouchers can be used inside a Player-Owned House. This will affect the cost of the object from the Forestry Shop.

Events: Drop rates for unique items from events will be adjusted to ensure they are obtainable. Some events will also have token Construction experience added to better align them with Woodcutting.

Smaller Changes: Access to Arctic Pine Logs will be added as a rare drop from Wintertodt, providing players with an alternative way to obtain them without impacting their natural habitat.

The development team is actively engaging with the player community to ensure that the update aligns with player preferences and maintains a balanced game experience. It's great to see this level of communication and responsiveness in a live game like Old School RuneScape.
