Erm... Where's the DFS question? According to the blog, Poll Question 5 should be:



Dragonfire Shield

Currently, this best-in-slot beast of an item has a fiery attack that can be used in a tight spot to deal a cheeky bit of damage. However, it behaves slightly differently between PvP and PvM. The attack gives Magic, Defence and Hitpoints XP versus monsters, but only Defence XP versus other players.

We’d like to make this more consistent by having the attack only give Defence XP in both PvM and PvP – after all, it’s a defensive move!


Question 5:

Should we change the Dragonfire Shield's fiery attack to reward only Defence experience in both PvM and PvP?




But I can't see this question in the poll in-game?

I seriously hope this wasn't made an unpolled change as suggested by Femboy Fbow above - Personally I think the DFS spec should be left alone, or the PVP experience drop should be changed to match PVM... Like seriously, it's DRAGONFIRE for crying out loud! Of course it's Magic!

I dislike the suggested WT timer because it appears to eliminate the opportunity for dedicated players to world hop and attempt to achieve 500 points in the most efficient manner possible, utilizing techniques like tick fletching/burning and running/fletching. Propose to vote no.

Let's discuss Ironmen in the wilderness. It doesn't make sense having Ironmen and regular accounts in the wildy at the same time. Even if you managed to anti-pk someone, their loot is un-lootable. Can Iron accounts get a more secure and safe way to pvm in the wilderness. Not asking much. Make Ironmen only worlds.

so much for making the path less lengthy its just cluttered as hell and ive been killed by a volatile spawning under me 2x in a row now this update is absolutely terrible and in no way an improvement to what was all ready there

please revert the monkey path changes for solos, 3 main issues

1. absolutely brutal if you miss hits on a few select waves, regularly taking 50 dmg to missed fang hits on rangers and new waves spawning on me (2 ranged and 2 melee + shamans up at once), causing you to take a significant amount dmg to bad attack rng despite making no mistakes, there was previously 1 wave this happened on (ranger + melee + shaman), now it happens on 3-4 different wave transitions

2. poisoning/envenoming the shamans also just makes them start maging you which is arguably worse than them just spawning thralls that are already covered by melee pray

3. volatiles are useless, 3x3 is not a large enough radius and they are too clunky/dependent on spawning in good spots to be actually useful

in total the room ends up taking me even longer (3min-3;30 avg vs. 3;30-3;50 avg on new patch) because the safest order to kill them in leaves 4 cursed baboons and an absolute lake of toxic trails on the floor at the end

I think you should change the poll charter to include graphical reworks. At least if it involves content that has been in the game for several years already.
Also I assume this means that the Lava Dragon Rework is canceled for the time being, not that you are going to do with without poll, right? Because the latter answer doesn't really make any sense.


I was rather hoping for the latter option: the proposed design looks decidedly Old School and would even fit in a 2007/2008 pre-HD setting. The current design, from back when the OS team had no graphics capacity whatsoever, looks as though it's from 2004 with the horrible lava textures.

The proposed Scar Essence Mine does not actually sound horrible on paper. Being able to craft many runes quickly whilst forgoi-- oh wait a minute, the Grand Exchange exists. :@

Please, leave these beautiful creatures alone… Why keep forcing pointless art-style changes? All this is accomplishing is turning the world less and less old school. Are you really prepared to lose your players again? It seems we are headed that way
