If allowing pures back into ape atoll, please could the xp reward be removed - with the option to remove the xp gained if you have already completed it - as this would enable certain account builds such as rune pures / berserker pures to complete other quests too, which would enable them to complete the lumbridge elite diary if that also passes

I really don't rate many of these ideas. They feel like such filler and I do not look forward having similar polls on a regular basis. It's like you saw how poll 76 went, decided to swing to the next extreme and will now constantly poll rubbish.

QOL month used to mean something good, with each section of the game getting it's own set of ideas, but now it's just a mess.

That's not to mention all the unpolled changes with barely any explanation as to why!
No change should be unpolled, especially items that have failed multiple polls. That's a clear sign you don't respect the polling system and the community.

Of course I'm not saying you cannot repoll items. In the case of Ape Atoll XP it has been a few years since it was last polled so you could try again. However you should be prepared for it to fail once again and to respect the community's choice.
RIP Forums :(
Finally we have signatures in the surprise forum update. I'm Lewis, I play Old School & I've been playing since 2005.

In my opinion, all of these go beyond QoL and into 'easy-scape' territory. I think at the very least, if you allow people to repair RC pouches at guardians of the rift, there should be some sort of GP or rune cost associated with it (maybe ~10-20k or similar value per repair). I don't really have anything constructive to say about any of the others, but I think all of them go a step too far and I'll probably vote against them.

Yet theres already a cost being suggest with pearls. So why must there be a secondary cost?

Also how exactly is this "easyscape"?

I have a good amount to discuss, because I really love a lot of the changes being polled but I think some of them could be changed and fleshed out.

Q1) Setting the quest point task to 99% quest points seems arbitrary, and a lot of the sentiment ive seen is that people feel its uncharacteristic of the game and devalues the task. as in, "if i beat 99% of a raid It should count as a win" or "if im 99% of the way to maxing a skill, It should just count as being maxed." what I propose comes from a reddit user, who's name I unfortunately cannot remember now: instead of linking the task to the qp cape emote, link it to a significant number of quest points or a significant set of quests entirely. like, once a player reaches the max amount of quest points that was present in the 2007 backup of the game, they talk to wise old man and meet the task. or, the player beats, say, all of the grandmaster quests, RFD, quests in that line, and talks to Wise old man for the task. keep the sentiment of making the task a fixed level of difficulty for all time while giving that fixed difficulty a defined purpose.

Q2) I propose, instead of adding the pouches to the drop table, make the drop rate of the abyssal needle more common, and change the functionality of the needle to be able to craft the rune pouches at their respective RC level they would drop from abyss monsters. Maybe, incorporate Pure Essence into crafting each pouch, so that there's a reason to still get essence as a member by giving them more uses

I'm breaking this into chunks give me a min.

Q3) This is complicated. I'm a fan of the idea but i dont like the polled execution. that low of a flat fee for the cost, and further the low repair fee, serves to defeat the purpose of NPC contact for GOTR. or rather, its one less reason for players to want to complete Lunar Diplomacy. At the same time, the fact that the repairs rely on random drops and on currency used in the shops means people will inevitably not have enough to repair their pouches. What I propose is a higher upfront pearl cost (75-100 range) to make it something to work for, in exchange for repairs costing elemental and catalytic points (similar to how the rewards guardian works) scaling with how many / what tier pouches need to be repaired. These changes work to ensure that people will effectively always be able to repair pouches while at the same time making this feature something to work for and acts as an alternative to NPC Contact rather than a replacement

Q4) I cannot Stress this enough, pass this change. if this is the only thing that passes in the QoL update, i wouldnt even hesitate to say that this is a good start to the QoL Team's work. Please keep looking into changes like these in the future.

Q8 and 9) Both of these changes only serve to help everyone in the game and make these areas of content seem more appealing, all while significantly balancing things that shouldn't be as hard / rare as they are

Q11) Similar reasoning to Q8-9. It only serves to help a significant portion of the game without unbalancing any aspects of the game

Pures - Ape Atoll) Again, Similar reasoning as the previous two questions. It opens up content to a significant portion of the playerbase that couldn't experience it beforehand, and it does so in a way without obstructing any other forms of play (that I can tell)
