Fixed a few plotholes and inconsistencies in the Icthlarin’s Little Helper and Contact! quests.
Removed some inappropriate dialogue from the Prince Ali Rescue, Icthlarin's Little Helper and Contact! quests.
Could you please specify what has been changed? The former point sounds very good, though it leaves me wondering what the inconsistencies had been. The latter point sounds like some of that hippie woke drivel but I could of course be mistaken.
Well, found some stuff myself.
The Sophanite slaves have been renamed to "workers". What's the point of this euphemism when they're meant to be slaves, as in ancient Egypt? They're also no longer angry with you for what you've done. :/ One of the points of friction between Al Kharid and Menaphos in RS3 was that the latter practises slavery whilst the former does not, as Osman tells Jabari during Stolen Hearts or Diamond in the Rough. The player telling the slaves to "Cheer up! Work can't be that bad!" is rather tasteless, though.
The Stonemason's dialogue (about granite armour) has been completely removed, and Nathifa's has been rewritten. The slums are now the "Workers' District" for some reason, the slave revolt is no longer mentioned, nor is Coenus' cruelty. Compare www.oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Transcript:Nathifa
to
www.runescape.wiki/w/Transcript:Nathifa.
I get that the dialogue was to be updated for purposes of consistency and so on, but why all these retcons?
Jex's dialogue no longer references the broken temple (which is repaired after Contact! I guess?) and the lines about the demigods have been updated, e.g. to be in line with Do No Evil.
The Menaphite guards no longer tell you to clear off when approaching Menaphos and there isn't a brief cutscene of the barricaded gate.
Bizarre Boron Fusswell, scryer extraordinaire.

Perhaps you're half right; perhaps we can't win. But we can fight.
