Yay for Land of the Goblins!
Good quest, that. Good music, too. Nice to hear the runecrafting update is coming soon (March) as well, really looking forward to that. Runecrafting is easily the worst skill in the game (the top training method is something you unlock at a very low level, and the xp rates are garbage) so this is a very welcome addition.
Maisa's new graphics look great; prior she was just a generic woman in desert robes, so anything is an improvement. I'll miss the humourous disguise, though. Do mind that she does have to be disguised during Contact!, as her identity cannot be compromised whilst she informs the Sophanites that it's safe to return to Sophanem. And yaaay Ullek. Hopefully we'll get the High Priest and scabarite research elements from Dealign with Scabaras. Those were highlights. Ideally, some references to Balfrug Kreeyath would be nice, as his rôle as the 'despoiler of Ullek' has never been elaborated upon.
River Dougne canoeing sounds useful (poor Kathy Corkat and her monopoly) and I'll gladly welcome any pirate update/quest. (Though I'd say left-clicks in Trouble Brewing and a reward cost rebalancing should be priority.) I'm personally not interested in the Corrupted Rat boss; the music thing sounds like a fun gimmick but hardly more than that. I'd prioritise modernising the music player in-game by adding shuffle mode, making unlisted music tracks from quests unlockable and adding a search function. I'm rather more excited from the Fairy Tale Part III idea from last gazette.
Postbag is of course always welcome; shame there was no Chaos Elemental letter this time, but then you revealed almost all future updates at the beginning of the gazette, so it'd be somewhat superfluous. Stupid polling system forefending surprise updates.
I didn't know there'd been an announcement for January's postbag, though. Could you please be clearer about this? And allow people to submit through other means than just Reddit? Cheers!
