do not tarnish combat achievement diary with downgrading the kill counts. make the kill counts larger or get people to reset personal boss logs in the ring of wealth and make it a race to reach certain boss kill counts. decidedly end game/ completion content don't make it so easy/fast to complete make people really work to finish it.

Guys, I'm sorry but are you actually taking the piss with this one?
Perhaps you have been receiving a different stream of feedback, in fairness, but from what I have seen the vast majority of players have been trying to tell you that re-hashing TOB into a quest was never a good idea in the first place, and should be a mini-quest, if anything.
While I can appreciate you trying to make it more "quest-like", I cannot see the rationale of having to redo it if already completed so we can "enjoy the dialogue". Really?
I was on the verge of getting my quest cape, so while I was convinced this would end up getting dropped off the quest list, I got impatient and decided to spend a few days camping TOB to try and crack this. I finally completed it yesterday. It took me hours (and lots of supplies), and now I have to redo it.
For me and many other players in my shoes, you've just completely wasted our time. At the very least, you could have issued some warning that the quest will be re-done a couple of weeks in advance--but that is actually beside the point.
Since June we have been trying to tell you we did not want this as a quest, but not only have you kept it as a quest, you are making everyone redo it. How utterly and infuriatingly illogical.

This makes absolutely no sense to someone who just wants the cape. Many of us completed this with the intention of it being the only time we will, or at least for a while. To make us re do a quest, because of story line changes is honestly ridiculous. Maybe if the quest were some run of the mill, but it's a watered down version of your end game content. I felt extremely accomplished when I finished it, with the thought I'd come back and learn it when I get some better gear rather than elite void. Not feeling accomplished about what I've already done, and now feeling very put off doing it again, story or normal.

For those who do tob often it's nothing, but this update wasn't aimed at them in the first place. Not allowing this quest to stay complete seems kind of just a punishment for..... Doing what you asked.

A little unrelated to the TOB stuff, since the update it seems that there are some problems with Phosani's Nightmare:

- Unable to wake the nightmare up after first kill, must leave encounter and re-enter to start another kill
- parasites now seem to have 40hp instead of 55hp
- parasites do not get one-hit every time in maxed melee + sgs (on crush)

Hi All, hoping a JMOD might see this and help me out.

When I logged in this morning I saw that the TOB quest was partially completed (yellow) since I had already completed the raid previously. I was also ecstatic to see the news post saying that we wouldn't need to re-complete the raid (it was really hard for me :D )

But now, the TOB quest is showing as unstarted for me (red). Is this a glitch? I died at an unrelated boss this morning, but that's all I can think of that may have reset the quest in my log. I am worried if I try to go start the quest now it will make me do the raid again.

Also, I haven't posted on the forums in a long time, I was a little taken aback by some of the 'feedback' from players in this thread...

EDIT - Belay the previous message, looks my TOB completion still counts. Quest just went from being started to not started. But all seems fine.

Thanks for the new quest! The previous version really wasn't up to scratch, so brilliant move that you updated it and integrated it into the Myreque quest series. The new requirement certainly is interesting. (One can argue it's no longer an introduction to the Theatre because of the quest requirement, but then you really shouldn't be snooping around the Sanguinesti Region before Darkness of Hallowvale anyway.)

If you'd read the post, you would have known you need not repeat the combat portion of the quest.

Boss kills reduction sounds fine, but I'm not well into that kind of content. Bizarre Boron Fusswell, scryer extraordinaire. OSRS: POH ideas & RS3 minigames & achievement ideas !
