Everything from the polls sounds great. Small things that make a slightly larger difference without being unbalanced (bank booths, enter login).
F2P worlds is AMAZING. I do not care at all if this game is F2P or not, I will gladly hand my money over so long as it is good. The main reason why I even played F2P was because it was the only place you could go with limited gear or specific 'builds' of pker accounts and fight without getting spec'd instantly. Loving that one.
Herb re-naming is by far the most important thing at this time. People refuse lower herbs yet use their price to influence the prices of higher herbs, which isn't necessarily bad. It makes herblore more profitable/profitable at all. However, it's also borderline scamming to many people, and many old school players know that people used to actually do scams using unid herbs.
I would prefer renamed herbs, although I'd rather have the older graphics of them than the modern ones if possible. It really makes it feel 'old school'.
As for the tradable (and sort of untradable) holiday rares, I don't think they're particularly important to the game. They should be easily obtainable by ANY PLAYER. The untradable ones were just a fun excuse to say "I attended x event", and were scarcely worn in the game. They weren't important at all.
The tradable rares themselves were only 'important' for the same reason whips will be like 30M gp when they first get put into the game. They're rare, they're iconic. Whips have a special quality of being infinite in amount as well as being USEFUL. Partyhats, masks, santas, and most definitely the disk/wine/pumpkin/easter egg had no use at all. Only implement wearable rares and make sure that any player can get them, at nearly any point of when they play.
I will again suggest using Diango to sell holiday items, preferrably unique shop ****k to each player, with prices equal with the item rarity and tiered prices. Partyhats in equal cost, then masks, and santa hats in last.
