I really don’t like the proposed spell changes other than consolidating the reanimating spells for prayer. The entire corruption idea just sounds like a tedious, slightly confusing, and more annoying mechanic than anything. The disease mechanic is already good example of a status changing mechanic that doesn’t really add anything to the game, and is just extra content that is annoying. Please don’t waste dev time on this, this spellbook should provide a very niche and specific set of spells similar to lunars which are niche, but extremely helpful when you want them. The reanimating mechanic seems so pointless, a limited clunky buff to dps only in certain areas which don’t even have very much pvm content in the first place. Leave the teleports as they are and just add in the new ones that make sense. Most of these spells are just too cute and specific, which is not what this game needs. There is already so much dead content that gets added, we would rather have meaningful additions than additions for the sake of additions. This whole concept is rooted around the fact that the “community wants a rework in this area” but that is simply not very true. I have played 100s of hours in the last 6 months and not once, have I heard a friend, clan member, or random person complain about this area, or express excitement about the rework. The spells are too complex but ultimately don’t do anything that meaningful, and if one of them ends up being broken people will just use it because they feel obligated too, not because they sound interesting or fun. I guess. What I’m saying is that all of this just seems like half measures, adding more seemingly random, abstract and tedious content to an area of the game that is already super tedious. The entire expansion was cook only because of raids, slayer dungeon, and the new rc methods. Build on what worked rather than what didn’t , you are throwing a million small unsubstantial changes at is rather than spending it on one valuable thin
