Jagex, I normally don't express my opinion, because nobody ever listens.

Develop a Pouch that holds Money. To enter the wilderness you must risk at-least 100k. Put a skull with coins to show how much your opponent risks. In reality though, everyone needs 100k to enter the wild and pk. I would be 10x more motivated to find my target if I knew they guaranteed had to risk 100k.

1-50 combat: Pouch must hold 50k
60-100 combat: Pouch must hold 100k
101+: Pouch must hold 200k

Set a 30 minute target system. This way, if someone realizes their target is deep wild, they don't wait 10 minutes for another. + they are motivated to go look for their target.

That is my solution, I would like to hear thoughts from everyone on what they think. It stays away from any medals/brawlers & still gives people to search for others.

There are ways to add incentives other than adding statuettes that will inflate the economy, or get coins involved at all.

Bounty Hunter should have a point system. The amount of points you gain depends on your combat level vs your targets combat level.

-To prevent farming: points should only be rewarded for killing your target, or 1/3 points rewarded for dying to your target.

-To prevent targets from camping multi with their teams: After 10-15 minutes without fighting your target, you will both be forced into an arena to fight. If a target is not in the wilderness they have 1-3 minutes to return and be teleported to the arena once in the wilderness. If they do not return to the wilderness within the 1-3 minutes they should be booted and banned from the Bounty Hunter worlds for 4 hours to a full day. Bounty Hunter worlds should not be every world because of this. It would probably be better if only the wilderness and Edgeville are accessible in these worlds.

-To prevent people from just logging out: If you log out while you have a target you will have the same 10-15 minutes to log back in or you will be banned from Bounty Hunter worlds for 4 hours to a full day

Rewards should stay within supplies, meaning:
-Empty Flasks: to make 6 dose potions, destroyed when empty, tradable.
-Food pouches: ranging from 5-10-15, food dropped on death, pouch destroyed on death, untradable, usable anywhere, possibly degrade after 100+ food is stored into it and taken out.
-Spell tabs: Combine the required runes into one single rune for the spell, for instances 1 ice barrage would cost 6 water, 4 death, 2 blood. The spell rune would turn back into normal runes when dropped on death, should work with any spell, possibly tradable

tl;dr: Adding consumables as rewards for killing/dying to your target will get a lot of non-pking players to start pking, and keep returning to pking.

This may be an good idea but i disagree with the 4 hours to 24 hours ban also the arena.
Here are some reasons why:
1. You might get someone on ancients and they will farcast you the whole time.
2. Theres always those pkers who NH and just pray while hybridding/tribridding
3. What if i get a guy who outgears me and never wants to fight me and i want a new target? Do you expect people to stay there the whole day without logging? What about the 6 hour time limit that you are able to be logged on in one session?
I believe these 2 things if they were added would be flawed

There needs to be some sort of incentive, otherwise I think it will just be dead content and won't make any difference. If there is some sort of reward it may drum up greater pking interest and we may see more skillers, PVMers walking into the wilderness to give pking a try. Perhaps greater rewards for skilling in the wilderness or clue rewards to balance things out. The game isn't the same as it was, there is a small pking community and any incentive to boost pking's vitality is a must. I think it would be interesting to see the target system (with bonus rewards) implemented into all worlds. You would get more people in the wilderness hunting there targets and greater chances of running into other players doing the same.Bacck in the day the fun was not knowing what could be out there or who you could run into. Now a days it's pretty much the same simple 1v1 combat with the same builds and armour set ups. As for skillers and treasure trail hunters the wilderness is suppose to be dangerous. There could still be a couple designated pvp worlds to centralize those who aren't interested in searching the wilderness for your target or "deep wildy pking".

The problem with pvp:

Cost of supplies

The problem narrowed down:

VOID. I can either go to the wilderness and stand around looking for a fight..or I can go to pvp worlds and have my supplies wasted by people who's risk is void. It's a lose lose situation either way. People who a void their risk are in the wilderness as well btw.

Force people to risk a bit and we might will start approaching a actual solution. If that fails, a more drastic solution might be needed as people learned to deal without untradables before and it did require them to risk more in doing so.

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.

There has to be some sort of penalty for avoiding fighting your target in a minigame specifically designed for pking in a target system. You're not allowed to high alch in Castle Wars because that's not what the minigame was designed for. The same logic applies with the bounty hunter worlds.

As far as the arena goes: It was a very rough idea. There has to be some way to force the two players to fight. Like I said before, you're in a bounty hunter world for the target system. Not to pk random people.

Possibly, when a player enters the wilderness they will be assigned a target based on similar risk and combat level. Players should be paired up with similar items instead of alch value of risk. The players shouldn't be allowed to leave without a penalty. The players would only be able to attack their target. I believe this is basically what the Crucible was? But don't quote me on that. I know the Crucible would require a fee to join, but bounty hunter should not require a fee to join.

(CAN NOT TRADE = DOES NOT EFFECT ECONOMY)
Money sink:
50 BH target kills = unlocked weapon of your choice Vesta or Zuriel or Statius.
100 BH target kills = unlocked armor of your choice Vesta OR Zuriel OR Statius.
If you purchase a weapon or set of armor you must regain the target kills to unlock the next set.
PURCHASED FROM AN NPC NOT PLAYERS:
Weapon Cost: 5m per(they can determine the cost of the weapons)
Armour Cost: 1m per piece(price can be determined by them)
NONE IF IT CAN BE TRADED and will reward a slight amount of coins(just like barrow gloves etc on death)

I'm sorry if this has already been suggested(its not a new idea) but i am not going to read through 50 pages to see if it has.

Due to item and risk differences, this would basically make it to where people would only be able to fight against their own combat style which would leave it to where mages would have nobody to fight.

There needs to be a way for the target system to recognize that it shouldn't pair someone in rune with someone in full bandos.

If people start pking in magic there won't be a problem with pairing them together.

Create a reward shop for BH so that you won't have mass amounts of one item no one really uses. To keep farming of rewards to a minimal make it so people who pk targets get a good chunk of points, rogues very little (or none at all), and the more kills in a short period of time the less points per kill.

Some rewards I'd like to see include:
-Untradeable food, pots, and consumables only usable in wild
-magic notepapers working exactly like RS3 with the limitation of only working in wild
-potion flasks only usable in the wild
-a gatherers ring that doubles resources gathered in the wild for a set amount of time or uses
-a scavengers amulet that double drops from normal monsters in the wild for a set amount of time or uses
-a runes pouch that work like the quiver equipment slot, allows you to still cast spells but saving inventory space. The pouch will only work in the wild and last for 10 hours of combat
