Remove the permanent skull. Replace it with minimum risk required. Scale it to combat level or protected wealth if need be.

At least the other 10% had something interesting, like obby tanks or low level zerkers or literally ANYTHING other than knives/msb/rcb to g maul.
Now I can step foot in the wilderness and wham, 100% no-risk prod g mauling even more rushing and spec tabbing.
Why would you force skulling and encourage 1-item pking instead of encouraging variety?
Sure, unskullers don't risk enough for the advantage they bring. Why not force them to?
Make an unskulled player not eligible for a target unless they risk at least 100k + 1% of their protected wealth on death. Ballista, anguish and dark bow instantly turns into 300k. Dragon crossbow to g maul is 140k. Claws, elder maul and amulet of torture is 800k minimum.
How about that instead of just straight up deleting the incentive for variety?
Secondly,
...blighted supplies and "sacks", weak design. Come up with something better than cheap copies of existing items.
