Hello,

While I see the account restrictions as a very good initiative to prevent F2P botting it should not affect accounts created before the update.

I have about 90 accounts created to hold and trade items on the Grand Exchange which I have made hundreds of millions on legitimately, but it is now locked in without receiving a prior notice. There are loads and loads of legit players being punished by this.

By unlocking accounts that were created before the update, I assume that all illegitimate players will be phased out (banned) pretty quickly and legitimate players can keep on with their business as usual/trade over their assets to their main accounts. Short term, sure - there will be a few bad botters that created their accounts before the update that can keep on collecting feathers for a small profit before they are ultimately banned, but I think the gains of keeping a lot of legitimate players that got their accounts locked still interested in the game compensates for this by far.

Long term, you/we will still get the health effects that you speak of in the news letter by not making it possible to create new accounts for botting.

I'm loving the new F2p account restrictions. This should definitely help deter bots being able to profit, and allow Jagex staff more time to identify these accounts and issue bans before they have the opportunity to disrupt the in-game economy and profit off real-world trading.

Hi there,


We'll start with the bad news first, my OSRS account (under the same name) is having trouble completing the Shield of Arrav quest.

Please allow the Phoenix weapon stores key be tradeable or have some sort of workaround for the quest or something.

This also poses a hinderance to those on higher levels trying to complete the Witch's Potion quest as well. As a lower level I have experienced a higher level player come to the cow farms in Lumbridge asking us lower levels if we have burnt meat . On one occasion, I had it, but was not able to trade it to the requesting player! It was pretty funny.

On another occasion that was not quest related (you can disregard this example): there was someone asking for a single law rune, which I had but did not realize the trade restriction affected my account so drastically. I think they were going to pay market price or similar too.


The Easter event on the other hand, was absolutely awesome. I'm not going to spoil it, but I enjoyed venturing into the area you guys made. It was so creative yet so simple. Thank you guys for that.

These are only minor hiccups due to the blanket update, but you guys are doing a good job thus far.

If you were to accept a suggestion, please allow a trade limit of 4,000gp or other amount on the 10th hour of game-time.

I loved this event! all the Cute bunnies and the Chef Bunny!!! the bests!! XD Hopefully, in the future, we might get an Event for everyone then a special event every so many hours to try and get a special Reward or Non-tradable Reward that is Rare that a Group of players has to do to get a drop chance. or something like that. It might be a good idea to look into it! :) anyways, Great Event Loved the Bunny Cook / Duke!! cute as can BE!!! :P

I'm a big fan of the F2P account restrictions. This should ease the pain of inflation in the economy and also deter people from creating more bots. The Easter Event was enjoyable overall - it was a little on the shorter end, but it's quality made up for it. In particular, I thoroughly enjoyed being able to travel to the bunny realm and pseudo-Lumbridge area. I'm looking forward to more creative events like these!
