Love the addition of city, slayer task, blood shard is cool, new agility training game is nice, love the dyes. Daeyalt mine is cool if only for the fact that runecrafting needs all the love Jagex is willing to give it. Would love to see its exp rates be higher. The stamina ring seems a little wonky to me though. You use stamina potions on it to charge it? So it's basically a stamina potion storage box? I'd rather see it's effects nerfed slightly, but charged by some means in the sepulchre or something, like charging glories, instead of just using more potions on it. That way ironmen could use it without having to get 77 herblore for staminas. Better yet, I'd love to see run energy consumption cut in half and let us not have to grind for items and gear that prevents us walking all over the place. Cheers

First of all, not everyone has excellent internet connection. If you lag or disconnect during crucial time and lose out on all the progress rather than on the potential experience points you'd be getting out last floor you entered, then it would make all effort pointless. The reason why I trained Thieving via Ardougne Knights rather than Pyramid Plunder was because at the time my internet connection was so unstable, I'd lose out on time and experience points not being able to reach the floors that gave me most experience. Please consider that for any player who cannot afford a better broadband themselves (children, students and other).

Secondly, majority of the rewards seem interesting. Obviously, visible rewards like Graceful Outfit and Giant Squirrel will be the most sought after. It's good that you included the ring to help with run energy. Barrows door lock pick seems more like a convenience to those who camp there. Handy items that can be used to enhance the performance within mini game is also great to make it more exciting and fresh but everything will come down to experience points in the end. Considering that it is a click intensive and attention demanding activity, it should reward with more experience rates. If the activity is too demanding for almost same experience points, then once the item collection phase is over, most players will simply turn back to rooftop courses and this new mini game will be barely playable.

Moreover, what is the point of unstackable and untradeable essence that paired with the mining time (and possibly run time) required to acquire it will end up being the same as using regular pure essence?

Finally, regarding the Blood Shard that will be attached to the Amulet of Fury. I have no idea how and where it will prove to be most useful but at the very least include that the 10% chance of activation occurs when the player can potentially heal the larger portion of hitpoints. If it proves to be overpowering, adjust it accordingly.

I think they should readjust the required magic level for Quest from 49 to 50, after all it doesn't make much difference, as it is a medium to advanced quest. I also think that as a city should have more stores, every city in the game has a lot of stores, you would also need a vampire armor store, at least level 40. As well as a magic store, because Morytania doesn't have a magic runes store.

I like the new Blood Shard item, it will be a nice addition to the game, however I think the item should only be obtainable through pickpocketing from the Vyrelords/ladies.

Thieving right now doesnt have much going on, its kinda dead skill tbh, this seems like a chance to give it some relevance and reward players with high thieving lvl.

Additionaly if Blood Shards are gonna be available through combat, it will probably make the pickpocketing method obsolete, since obtaining it by combat will probably be faster and also you will be getting other drops and slayer xp, if on task. This will make it so that there is a lot of supply from people training slayer and the price of Blood Shards would go down quickly, which would make pickpocketing Vyrelords dead content not long after release, if not on day 1.

Also I think the chance to trigger the ability could be at least 15%, the current 10% seems kinda weak.

the only thing the darkmeyer ever brought was the draken medallion teleports -
the rest is and will be a waste of effort to bother with this quest.

darkmeyer is a place players forget as it really doesn't offer much.

guess what?
I voted against it
yes I went there in a future age and found it wanting.
0 players after a few weeks of opening.

After hours of research about the quests, lore, and background of Darkmeyer I am excited to have this released. Looking forward towards the new agility system and graceful color customization coming!

I love the proposed update, but have some suggestions:

1. There needs to be an alternative use for the dark dye & acorn. I'd love a small update to farming similar with the crystal tree in prif. Maybe a dark oak tree patch that would offer an appropriate amount of experience for growing but that would offer a 1/10,000 chance of receiving a blood shard or some form of token that could be redeemed in the Hallowed Sepulchre reward shop. Otheriwse you're giving players an untradeable, especially rare reward that they can only make use of if they're lucky enough to have the agility pet (consider offering a dark version of Tangleroot, considering it's an acorn?). Also, if the squirrel colour unlock is permanent, as it states in the blog, then there's literally zero use of any duplicates you receive.

2. The only other rewards are either directly used in the Sepulchre to offer benefits in the minigame itself, and the Stamina Ring. I can see this putting off a lot of players. There needs to be something to offer longevity to the activity. Maybe consider the gamble system in Barb Assault as an attractive goal for players? Look at what the popular minigames today do right, and what dead minigames got so horrendously wrong (looking at Trouble Brewing).

3. We all know and understand the RC grind, but if this new form of training isn't a substantial upgrade to the typical methods, why would I, or anyone else, actually do it? The 50% increase in XP is offset by the time I'd need to spend mining and creating the new essence, and there's no monetary benefit from what I read in the blog.

Otherwise, I'm looking forward to playing the new content! Cheers.
