I love the whole update. I don't care about the rewards per say, I just really enjoy the entire vampyre quest line. It's my favorite out of all quest lines. I could see the rc xp rates being a bit better and much more fluent to achieve. It is quest locked, stat locked, not high level but mediocre. I say better than doing 72-77rc at zmi for 21.5hrs. Drag. Guess time will tell. THUMBSUP

edit: Will there be mining xp granted for mining the daeyalt or will it just be 1's for the xp or none at all due to the extra 50% rc xp gain on the back half?

why put it on a fury an item that is already useful!

Put it on dragonbone necklace or bonecrusher one as its shit and needs an update for hydra tail with requirments also makes the effect worthy and not anyone can use.

Come on use ya heads..

Completing the quest-line is enough as it is, no need to add a shiny update as the main attraction to the new city. If you want to re-live content, do so for older city first before creating a new city.

Will be voting no to all except for the quest.

Well, and the mods aren't even here to reply or look at feedbacks, lol, disappointing enough.

I would love any addition to the Hallowvale questline. However, I will be voting no to the crypt or blood Fury attachment. I understand the need to add an attraction to Darkmeyer. Especially since Meiyerditch has Raids 2 via Theater of Blood.

The Blood Fury attachment seems too powerful as a standalone necklace equipment item, but its current form is far too weak and would be dead at release. In comparison, Guthans which requires the use of the head, body, legs, and weapon slot just for a chance to recover HP. Not to mention this will lower the overall value and use of Guthan's, to begin with. I'm for having the gem as a weapon attachment to underused weapons, breathing life back into them (like spears, long/short swords, ect). Maybe even allow it to attach to the Dark Bow to bring that weapon back into relevance?

Maybe it's time to rethink buff and changes you can do with Barrows armor sets to tie in with that cool Lockpick reward? It might be worth mentioning is that there was a post asking to buff Torag's hammers to hit twice per tick and to change its abilities instead of sapping agility but to double hit at random.

I'm not a fan of the Hallowed Sepulchre. With the likes of many other agility courses like prifddinas, thieving mini-game pyramid plunder, and let alone crypt stealing Barrows. What does this add to the game that's different in terms of looting using agility and thieving? It feels like it will be easily forgotten and that the level requirements and rewards don't really warrant its existence. I'd much rather see something more unique to train skills that don't have mini-games revolving around it like Runecrafting, Construction, and Prayer for example. Three skills that are the most expensive, time-consuming, and in need of alternatives to skill.
I don't think this mini-game has enough going on for it in terms of rewards, the mini-game itself, and overall being the point of interest for this very hyped section of the region.

I think there are some really cool ideas in this blog, a few unnecessary items and I have a concern about the vampires.

First off I really love the idea of continuing the story line and access to dark meyer. It's clearly a big bit of the map that is locked off and knowing we can explore it is really cool.
I am very concerned that this poll for a new quest is going to be used to graphically rework vampires. This happened with the elves; I was not impressed that such an iconic part of osrs was changed so much without poll and I hope you do not do that here!

Introducing the elite vyrewatch as a higher level slayer monster sounds great too, really giving players a reason to live in the new area.
The blood fury feels forced. The item itself feels unnecessary and I have no idea what the fury has to do with this update.

The new essence mine sounds good on the surface but I think if you scratch away it is a really bad idea. There is some merit to breaking up the runecrafting grind (something I am very familiar with) however I think making it more varied rather than splitting it up between mining and altar grinding would be better.

The Hallowed Sepulchre sounds like a really fun way of training agility and introducing new agility items. Most rewards are great since they help you in the tomb however it is concerning that some rewards are tradeable. These should be something each player earns, like a set of graceful.
RIP Forums :(
Finally we have signatures in the surprise forum update. I'm Lewis, I play Old School & I've been playing since 2005.

Lots of good content. The Blood tithe photo at the very end doesn't seem to have any description on what it is though.

Blood Fury amulet: I think this attachment should work the same way the Abyssal tentacle whip does with a whip. The Blood Fury amulet should consume the power of the Fury amulet and after 10,000 successful hits you are left with the blood shard. This would raise the price of a fury back to approximately 3M, and also raise the price of chaos runes as more onyx would be purchased using chaos runes from the gem shop. Similar to the Abyssal tentacle whip you might be able to use two Blood Fury amulets on each other making a single amulet with 20,000 charges -this would help sink blood shards keeping them at a healthy price just like the kraken tentacle and abyssal whip.

I think the amulet is a great option for pures, and builds that do not want to gain defense xp by using guthans, as well as a nice option for mains and tanks.
