part 3 of my vesta longsword adventures, this time i played around on it on the 117 account build.

Using the high skill method of dumping 4 vls specs in a row I was able to slay an impressive 11 of my peers (in a row) before deciding once again to write about how overpowered the vls is.

I feel like it should get bumped up to 30% special attack to prevent dumping multiple special attacks to slightly raise the skill level, Im not even veng/barrage rushing, just walking up to people and killing them with a couple of special attacks. Another alternative could be to add 1 tick to its attack speed.

Another alternative which I wouldnt mind seeing is making the vls special attack have a base damage (say 36), with an additional 1-99% increased damage based on the defence level of the target. The lower damage vs 1 defence and zerker accounts would be balanced by the fact it pretty much always hits, whereas the bonus damage vs high defence builds would bring a bit of excitement to maxed main pking, which is typically a 0 fest. It could also be a good method for 1 defence pures to match up better against void tanks. This would make it consierably weaker on pure accounts, however it would have the same max hit on maxed mains.

I would like to reiterate that it is seriously overpowered when facing opponents of the same level, imagine how dishusting it will be when a level 117 can spam 4x 72 specs on a level 102 account in a pvp world...

ill probably stop posting about it now, although i may play around with it some more when people are using regular gear in the beta, I cant imagine slightly cheaper gear making a difference to the vls though.

Hey, one huge thing you guys need to change are the ability to hijack fights when your target is fighting someone else. Seriously its so annoying. I don't think this is right. I understand the target system is made to pick fights, but its also the wild. If someone is in a fight with someone else, that does not give you the right to high jack fights.

maybe i see this wrong but that's one thing I have noticed so far in the Beta.

Please do look into this and consider locking people in fights like the PJ timer after killing someone.

Hello,

I want to express my deepest gratitude to the team in regards to our feedback. I took a break after thinking I have wasted my time and went and played on my HC, now after reading the hotfix on Oct 18th with wildy slayer. The grind will continue now with the UIM, 250K points off rune pouch.

Hi,

one reason why my friends and I rarely play on bounty hunter worlds is that the ping is bad when the bounty hunter world is an american world. Could you pls consider making a permanent American and a permanent German or British Server. Even if it would splitt the ppl that want to play bounty hunter a little bit, it would stil help getting more ppl to play on bounty hunter worlds in my opinion.

So since crates have been taken out of the rewards and are being nurfed I fully understand that but I’m the end the hole point was for them for pkers to get some kind of reward from pking now as it stands everyone basically in the combat bracket of 40-73 are all g maulers which me as an obby mauler I have no problem with but since the handle came out everyone protects it leaving nothing but 5k gp from that pk so creates where actually making it possible to profit a little bit off these g maulers instead of typical 5k loot but since u took it out it’s back to nothing from each pk so it’s running out of reason to even do it it’s costing more in gear then to actually kill some I understand the reason for taking the crates out befouled of farmers but in reality I can’t base the game off bots and farmers I think crates should come back in nurfed and maybe just cost -7-9 points each crate it’s a good compromise, as well as making it where u don’t need ur target to have an emblem to upgrade yours again u can’t base the game off farmers and bots if that’s the case duel arena should have left the game ages ago aswell as many other in game things. Emblems became completely obsolete sence the update because no one wants to risk them and seeing as how every pure only risks 5k on death it bring motivation to bring one to wild for us purrs who want to make a little money pking. I hope to hear some kind of feed back on these options and my opinion on this matter. Been around since 2009

I am happy Jagex is finally making an effort with PVP but I feel like the Bounty Hunter rework was pretty underwhelming. You make back to back raids and then when you turn to PVP you have to ask the community for task ideas? Like put some real effort in. Also, not showing the value of your target anymore is aids. Suddenly the entire world has a b ring again.

My next complaint is this 50 combat situation. I get it was meant to address farming accounts but you ruined low level pking and all the farmers just went and got prayer or defense and are now 50+ CB.

So now that the complaining is over, here is exactly how you fix this update.
1. Re-poll PVP weapons and add a PVP requirement to vote (it will pass)
2. Make all crates and emblem upgrades a 0 net gain system. Whoever dies should lose the same value as the person who killed them. That way farming would be completely useless as no profit would be made. You could even increase the value of points to make it high risk high reward. This concept should also be applied to PVM, nothing in the game should be profitable if you die. Stop bubbling wrapping the game and designing it to be botted.
3. Open up the content to all LVLs. If the net profit is 0, it doesn't matter what lvls participate.

The issue is that crates are being farmed for ridiculous GP/hour. They need to make it a 0 net profit system, meaning that the person who dies loses the same value as the person who killed them. Then they could make the crates highly valuable which would be high risk/high reward and no one could farm the system.
