I haven't really played OSRS for a couple of months now, only logging in every once in a while to merch and talk to friends. However, this thread has really excited me about old school Runescape again! The PvP worlds were one of my favorite things about OSRS and something I was very sad to see go in 2012 when the wilderness was re-introduced. If this system were put back in to place with significant rewards for training in PvP locations I think many players would be again excited about 2007 RuneScape. However, with the introduction of minigames such as Wilderness Tags and PvP Worlds, it's important to remember that we need a money-sink also to be introduced, possibly in the PvP worlds. That is one of the reasons why the RS economy was doing so well during the PvP Worlds era. They were a great money-sink, which offered exciting opportunities of good rewards. All-in-all, I would love to see Wilderness Tags, PvP Worlds, and GWD introduced into Old School RuneScape, but with the introduction of so much GP, we would definitely need significant money-sinks to combat this*
tldr;
1. PvP Worlds would re-excite players (especially PKers) who are becoming bored of 2007scape.
2. Wilderness Tags and GWD look pretty exciting as well.
3. With the introduction of these GP generating activities, it is very important to the economy of OSRS to balance it out with a money sink of some sort, such as the money-sink of the old PvP worlds.
