Those who think Clan Wars would kill off clan activity in the wilderness are so naive..

Official wars (RSB ranked or not) would only be set-up once or twice a week depending, for about an hour or two. Giving clans the opportunity to test one another in maxed mage/tank gear etc.. As well as striving each player to get better gear/stats for the next competitive or fun war.

I assure you in any active clan their will be plenty of days offering PK trips/wars.
The original release of Clan Wars & Bounty Hunter was there to fill the hole left when they removed the ability to PK in the wilderness, replace it so to speak.

It's just an optional safe minigame, which imo will help the clanning community grow (along with GWD etc bringing back players who crave for new content) and it wouldn't effect the wilderness in the slightest.. So please don't be narrow minded :/

History has proven that clan wars causes a bunch of clan wars only clans to open and that alot of potential recruits for an active wildy clan world are then shifted to a clan wars only clan world.

Back in 2011-2012, not a single rsb clan ever ventured into the wild. They all stuck to their 10vs10 in divines, armadyl etc etc.

For a clan world to thrive, there must be no clan wars. In the end, all the crashing, beef, returning etc etc are all what fuels a clan world because it causes rivalries and real fights. None of those:"oh we won our 10vs10 with 2 ppl standing the other team did a great job!!! we did a great job!!! respect to everyone! love everyone ppl! omfg thanks for fight!!" *****. Beef is what we need

I think that this thread brings up a much larger question than you are all seeing. Basically we're being asked as a community, would we rather remain a nostalgic community of players who live in the old dream of Runescape, or do we want to form OSRS into a whole new game in itself with new bosses/armor/lore etc... Right now, for me at least, I feel like I'm playing in the prime of RS. With recent potential updates though, not so much. I played because it was 07...not 07 graphics with 2010 updates. I think that if we want GWD, it should be a "revised" version of it, just so we AREN'T just like old GWD. All of you people who are saying you won't vote for it if there is ANY change at all, are just being ignorant. Open your eyes, there were issues with the original GWD, just like with any update. It takes time to make it better, just keep your mind open to new things, don't be immature and say "If it's not EXACTLY how it was...I'm voting no!"

Love the ideas, all of them! And it's great to see that the feedback has reached you.

There is one concern I would like to inform you about;

The content polls you run te determine which updates are introduced to OSRS are being rigged by eoc clans. The 100 overall level requirement to vote is so low that they have accounts that are eligible to vote, and they simply always vote opposite to which way the poll seems to be going. This is why left click banking passed with something like 93%, instead of 100%. No sincere player would vote against it!

Please update the requirements for voting. Every sincere player would meet a way higher requirement easily! The negative impact of some of the players of the eoc community is too big, please take action!
