And before I forget, is this like barbarian assault? What happens if a teammate dies? How many players per party?
You can enter a Rumble dream as a party of 5. That's the party leader plus 4 invitees.
If one of them dies (or leaves), they are removed from the party, and may choose to observe the rest of the dream from the side-lines. The remaining players continue to fight.
Thanks for taking the time to write this. I enjoyed the in-depth parts about how you overcame the technical difficulties, it shows you're doing your best despite the game engine's insistence to remain as old school as possible. I laughed heartily at the cow part; it's random quirks like that that make the game interesting. The minigame looks like a lot of fun and I'm much looking forward to it.

I think it's his name and wip stands for ''work in progress''.
Quite right. Once you've used a test account on a version of the game that's got a new bit of content, its saved game profile may no longer match older versions of the game. Thus we tend to use a work-in-progress test account for testing in a stream that's got a new feature, and a separate test account for testing in a stream that hasn't.
Quite an interesting read - really enjoyed getting to hear about how exactly this sort of thing is developed, even without some of the tools that the main version of the game is able to use.

So anyway, you guys have been requesting for the interface editors or map editors for OSRS. Are these part of the game engine too?
Game engine and tools tend to be pretty overlapped, since the staff have the same skill-sets and there's a lot of common territory. A map editor, for example, ought to display a 3D view of the map that's being edited; the game displays 3D views of the map too.
I really don't like the CW updates... mainly the barricade update. I am currently looking forward to playing CW once I get the proper levels. I enjoyed it so much back in the day, I really see no need to change the gameplay. Using a bucket of water makes the game more challenging/interesting/fun. And the altar, it makes defending quite a bit easier... I don't think I like it.
