My Kebos Lowlands experience as a mid-level player has been
underwhelming
so far.
Starting with Aerial fishing (stats upon release were 63 fishing and 45 hunter)
>amazing concept and was captivating at first experience
>the promised "good exp rates" and "solid alternative training method for fishing and hunter exp" are quite a few steps short of what the mods promised us.
>along with bad exp, only nice reward is the fun weapon and maybe fish sack.
Several aspects of aerial fishing seem rushed or brushed off by the creators and I am going to speak for myself here and possibly a large part of the player base; I would have preferred if more effort was put into reward, story development and exp rate adjustments with a slightly pushed back release rather than what feels like everything developed after the action of aerial fishing was half-assed.
Onto Slayer (slayer level upon release was 80)
Now the entire dungeon setup was amazing, all the detail in artistic design and background story really hooked me as a veteran player ( playing rs since 2006/2007). Given my level I could only experience Wyrms which were a fun task. Suddenly i see 368 noted raw monkfish on the ground and i swore someone was trolling me. Later looking into it I realise that it was from Konar's drop table. Upon further inspection I deemed the drop table ridiculous. So ridiculous that i immediately began to abuse it. I wasn't lucky enough to get 2500 sara brews but i did get 178 ranarrs.
Now I'm not sure what you all were thinking upon release or why you all decided to nerf it into the ground as opposed to adjusting the drop sizes and relevancy of the items. but at that point, Konar just wasn't worth it anymore. Dead content to mid level players.
I have several more complaints such as op dragon knives killing relevance of dragon thrownaxe etc. but for the most part the rest of kebos is content i have not experienced.
I've heard good things about hydra and farming and bad things for drakes
