This Would also be a great opportunity to change the granite mauls special attack to deal it's attack on the next game tick instead of the same one. This would be in line with dragon throwing axes and would be an important change especially with the anglerfish overheal in combat change. Also add a queue for both special attacks so they can more easily be used multiple times in a row.
SPEC TABBING SOLUTION
Also instead of this dumb suggestion to make it so you cant teleport after specing just put a 5 minute timer on being able to use spec pools. The pools are the reason spec tabbing exist SO why ruin the way risk fighting works or dhing when the solution should be done through a timer on using spec pools. If you're actually fighting fights and not just spec tabbing you shouldn't need spec more often than 5 minutes anyways
PROBLEM SOLVED
That's an equally stupid idea. Can't use a piece of content for 5 minutes because of some retards in PvP?
No that's the way things should work. If an update occurs that creates a problem then the solution should involve nerfing the new update that created that problem. In this case pools made spec tabbing rampant so the solution should involve nerfing pools. Not destroying pvp mechanics that were never a problem until the introduction of pools.
Same thing goes for the boxing mechanic change. It's not addressing the problem. The only place that boxing is used is duel arena telespot. Instead of addressing the problem and making duel arena a safe spot to stop boxing they again want to backwards fix the problem by ruining another pvp mechanic which will allow you to pj people off when focusing a kill in pvp. All this will accomplish will be that duel arena wont be made a safe spot so the raggers will just rag people (they were the ones who pushed for the boxing fix cause they couldnt 1 item the people camping btw). And yet another backwards fix that doesn't address the underlying problem will be shoved down our throats and ruin pvp mechanics. Sad to see jagex going down this path again ruining pvp 1 update at a time.

The spec-tabbing issue has been around longer than house pools. The issue with is that it is essentially one-way combat between the rusher and the rushed. There is no chance of fighting back, since the damage is nullified by the teleport mechanism.
After this update, players
can
still rush from a safe zone into a pvp zone to try to get a quick kill on their opponent, but they will have to take a few hits in the process. I believe this to be only fair and obviously how it should be...

"Whilst most players that fight without a skull are wearing gear of very high value, the player with the skull typically risks more or the same amount but is at a huge disadvantage due to the difference in the quality of gear being worn."
This isn't true from what I've seen. Many unskull pkers actually risk more.
They have too
, otherwise nobody would fight them.
Skulled pkers on the other hand...can have some of the lowest risk with the most reliable KO potential in the game. AGS prods with their glory, d hide chap and msb risk are a perfect example of this. The 75k from the B gloves isn't enough to make them worth fighting either.
Why should a pker be able to get skipped freely only because they don't have a skull, when they might be risking 500-800k+ while a skulled pker risking barely 100k can't be?
If balancing risk v reward is truly what you're after, then logic dictates that a free skip should be based on risk.
OSRS Mage Tank.
Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.

@O25 Yeah I teled there forgetting it was pvp and died for my cash stack. @JAGEXAYIZA this should be made a safe spot like the g.e.
The difference between the g.e tele and duel arena is that duel arena is actually a very nice community of pkers and streamers coming in to fight other player killers. I think it shouldnt be removed for that reason. It would rly take a big peace out of runescape pvp worlds.
