Ash, I just wanted to add:

I think how you did the 'extras' for NMZ was perfect. It DID work quite well, and I'm hoping that will be the 'go to' idea in all polls (it offers the possibility of extras, but ensures the most amount of players are somewhat happy, at least, with the results).

I'm hoping your edit doesn't mean that those posting in forums 'could' sway you to a simple majority vote. However, I do understand why you would want to leave room for flexibility in most things.

Also not sure if you would recall the conversation we've had before, but I support the idea of offering GWD in another way, should it not pass on the first poll (as, clearly, many 'are' interested in it).

I am not in a hurry if it takes some time to make gwd perfect.. I am all for leaving it original. I prefer to go pvming and make money and not farm untradeable loot. GWD was the best update in all runescape. this update will keep me happy for years alone. I know osrs has a big future for it with other great updates...but don't tweak gwd and make things untradeable...if so don't bother releasing it..

Finally, Mod Philip has been looking at the PID issue that many PvPers have been facing. The PID issue arises when players make the same action in the same game cycle (for example hitting each other over the heads with a blunt instrument) and the game has to decide who makes the action first. Players were able to predict who'd get priority, and even try to manipulate it in their favour to get themselves an advantage. Mod Philip's engine change is being tested now, and we hope to be able to launch it next week so that this is no longer an issue.

The part I'm most excited about is possibly being able to toggle on the old gameframe and NPC models. Everyone else can have their precious GWD but I want my older looking game.

Also, allowing us to toggle off the merchant at spawn points would be a nice touch. ;)
