I know we've already voted for the current stats of what the sol used to have but I think it makes more sense if the stats reflect the appearance. I posted this on the other thread:
These were the original stats for the staff of light:
STAT BONUSES
Attack Defence
Stab 55 Stab 0
Slash 70 Slash 3
Crush 0 Crush 2
Magic 17 Magic 17

I think that the offensive melee stats should reflect the winning model.
Number 1 & 2: I can see this one slashing/ stabbing and crushing so I'm not sure.
Number 3: 55 stab / 70 slash / 0 crush - unchanged.
Number 4: 55 stab / 0 slash / 70 crush - I don't know how one slashes with an orb.
Number 5: 70 stab / 55 slash / 0 crush - It is a spear after all
Number 6: 70 stab / 0 slash / 55 crush - I'm not too sure about this one either.
I personally will vote for the Anger Spear model, I'm aware it looks like a melee weapon but the staff we're basing this new one on was partially a melee weapon as well (blade attached to the end of a staff). This is why I think we should be choosing a staff that looks dangerous both as a magic weapon and a melee weapon, especially if we are giving it melee stats. Sorry Flaming Marshmellow but this kinda makes you one of the worst choices
Then again I've never been too fond of the idea of being poked by a flaming marshmellow O_O
