Mod Ash, it sure has been awhile since I found myself on the forums! You should make one of your new OSRS Mods like Silentc0re and EraserGaming (I believe he's a mod) get to work on an OSRS marketing tab. A lot of 3rd party fan websites are reaping the benefits while you guys are not necessarily losing members but you're losing hits to your website... just saying. Anyways, not the topic at hand!
The topic is staves. I really think the Staff/Wand of Darkness would be the best out of the two but maybe consider updating the game to allow the player to change the look of the staff by an NPC so everyone gets their own custimizable staff. I like staff because of its suffix "of darkness" and because in the live game, Staff of Light is already taken. If you are technically putting "new" items into the game, you should name it completely different from its original title and besides, you are already developing a completely different look (the wand) for this weapon so why keep the same name? Other than the name in question, I really like the look of this particular staff because the SOW looks like a silly pitchfork, almost as if (if my character were able to weild it) if I were to have it on, I'd run around saying I just stole from an imp! The SODa looks too much like Ahrim's staff. I'm sure there was a meeting that took place where you required everyone to bring in an idea for this new staff. Well, poor Ricky got too freagin' drunk and woke up the next morning and went, "SH--!" so he went to his computer and just changed the color of Ahrim's staff and turned it in that next meeting.
Anyways, The SODe looks too "Lunar" for me. I like the idea of the head of the staff being able to functionably move but the crescent moon kills it. Now we're left with the wand. I really like it because it is a complete new change. It's not a staff and it looks completely different from its predecessor! I also think it's kind of cute that such an adorable weapon is the best in game.

Staff of the Dead is my choice definitely, although it would be much better if we could have some fitting robes to match aswell, possibly a green mystic to match guthix colours/book and cape or to match the staff of the dead or make some new " robes of the dead ", with colours matching the staff of the dead
And although the Saradomin god cape has always been blue and white bottom, just a cheaky suggestion to maybe changing it to white with yellow/gold bottom or yellow/gold with white bottom, to match the saradomin staff and book and in turn white mystic robes
