in the african plains Hyenas are the fattest animals cuz they are opportunistic scavangers.

So pjers and vultures kinda make the wilderness feel more authentic imho

but i guess theres no real harm in slowing them down for 10 seconds

Do you know the kind of outrage that was caused when this was implanted in Rs2/3.
The wilderness is never a safe place. When looting you are taking the risk of also being attacked and killed unless you make it out alive.

The thing that would make the pj timer slightly better is the fact that mages are not considered in combat unless they forgo there advantage of distance. If this pj feature helps that, sounds really good to me.

However, I think clarity on exactly what you're voting yes or no to, should be available prior to the poll (and that's not looking so likely now). If I'm reading correctly... The Armadyl crossbow would be dropped by the Saradomin boss? Shouldn't the crossbow be dropped by the Armadyl boss? And if the Staff of Light will be dropped by the Zamorak Boss, maybe make it look more Zamorak-ish?

Apparently the armadyl crossbow is dropped by sara boss in EoC aswell. I don't know what kind of lore is behind that, but I suppose it isn't that bad. Armadyl has plenty of good drops already.
