why not just have an option to toggle on/off SOL in stakes that way if people want to stake with sol available they can and if they do not then they don't have to.

problem solved....

Nothing wrong with this or simply not allowing staff of light special attacks if magic is turned off in the stake.

Barrows Armour may hold some of its own value despite the implementation of GWD.

Folks will still need Guthans to heal and Dharoks to max out, and veracs to kill KQ.

And with everyone at GWD there will be less folks doing barrow runs.

And shouldnt a ''barrows'' amulet come from the barrows chest...?

It seems unlikely that people will stop whining about it, unless it's absolutely 'confirmed' that this IS what will be implemented if GWD passes the poll.

Sounds like its one big question with "do you want god wars" meaning if those ppl are so adamant about not having adamant bars changed they need to say NO to god wars. That however would seem silly since no god wars means no adamant bars either.:o (ofc if they get close I suppose Ash might try again with revisions?)

Oh I agree completely that it's one big question and that if they are so determined that addy bars is the 'make it or break it' of GWD that they should vote no. I also agree that that seems a silly reason to say no to GWD.

My concern is more along the lines of... that's a bit of reading in that first post and people are simply missing the part that says this is how GWD will be if it passes. As a result, it's going to cause much spam in forums (people believing if they complain enough that jagex will change this) and I simply believe it should be 'confirmed' that the addy bars decision is NOT open to change (at this point). would work too... i was thinking of something along those lines... this might make more sense to just class the special as a magic based attack.

I think it was 'etched in stone' that free trade and the Wilderness would never come back.

For that matter, looking at the illegible old gravestones in my local churchyard, it's clear that literally etching things in stone doesn't make them permanent.

Anyway... We write these blogs before opening the polls so that people can give feedback before the poll opens. Stuff can be changed. And people have posted constructive ideas for what could be changed in this situation, such as dropping ammo to replenish what you're consuming as you fight the aviensie. We might be able to run with something like that.

Nevertheless, I'm not about to post a promise that we'll always do whatever is demanded if people whine for long enough; for example, even if a few dozen players posted that they'd ragequit if I didn't bring back an abusable exploit for them to get rich off, that might not be the right thing to do for the game as a whole!

There is no need to give armadyl the rights to drop this amulet of the damned if it is to pass, it's already the most profitable boss in runescape. I suggest giving this drop to saradomin or zamorak if it passes.
I'm confused. Here's what it says in the blog:
" One idea is to create an Amulet of the Damned, dropped by K'ril Tsutsaroth. "

I don't see anything about adding extra items to the Armadyl boss at all.

alot of people are afraid that the 10second pj timer will apply in multi thus severely changing multi fights because of the immunity. please clarify whether it is only for single/multi, and if you can attack while immune.

also if you want a suggestion on special attack for the crossbow. Give it zanik's crossbow spec. I think it was a +15 damage if they are praying. Or you can give it a special that ignores prayer. or you can give it two special attacks that both hit 15%.

also I and many others 100% agree with the person above me. We all hated the new 2h stance. It also had a "hidden" update where the 2h's damage splat didn't appear as fast. It was delayed a little which ruined the r2h's comboing ability just a tad.

So, what I take from that is that this 'could' change before the poll is open next week (adding 'subject to change' in that opening post that says 'this is what you get if GWD passes its' poll, might prove useful).
