I implore a JMod to read my comment and take it as subjective criticism, this is my favorite game.
I dislike the updates that are catering to iron men. Iron men can become frustrated with the difficulty or tedious-ness of certain monsters or activities, HOWEVER people who choose to play iron man are CHOOSING to limit themselves. I feel like the iron-man only monster areas are a slippery slope. What is next, a THIRD dagannoth kings lair for iron men? An iron man only slayer tower/cave? Maybe even boss rooms catered to hardcore iron men, where the monsters are not aggressive until you attack them, to protect people from wrongful disconnect deaths. Iron men choose to limit themselves just like "pure" accounts do. I understand this would not affect the main games economy, however I think game integrity comes into play here. Isn't the spirit of iron man mode to stand alone and play the game as it is, accepting the difficulty and trivial things that comes along with it? If an Iron man is getting griefed, consistently having the same player attack the monster they are killing, there is a report abuse option for "disruptive behavior." Then again you could question if "crashing" should even be a topic. Why does a player get rights to a monsters spawn area? Because they were there first? What if a player has been looking for an empty world, and hit their world hop limit, are they to continue to manually log in to find a world as to not "crash" other people? Their only alternative would be to wait 20 minutes so they can hop again, or they have to give up doing that activity. Making things easier for a game mode that is supposed to be difficult defeats the purpose, and I think many factors should be considered before making updates that are specific to ironmen. The game shouldn't cater updates to a specific player, a player should cater their play style and strategy to the game.
