Hey all as there been any new information on whats happening with the caves yet?
I have never used the forums before but really felt I needed to know more after the recent hotfix.
I was absolutely addicted to the rev caves before the fix, I'm only a mid lv player but I got such a rush from looting, low lv pking and seeing big team fights there.
I'm still not totally sure what the problem was with the economy side of it as its unclear why it was such a problem. It truly revived my interest in going into the wilderness and in building up my combat stats for survivability. Plus it's the reason 5 of my mates started playing Runescape again after I showed them it.
I agree with a lot of the comments before talking about how it really brought together both PVM players and PVP players for a change. If nothing else it's a good indication that the game would really benefit from seeing more content like this to be added to the wilderness to entice players to venture there.
As a player who started playing the game back in the very beginning and then leaving for years prior to EOC. ( losing my original account to rs3 sigh... ) i hope that there can be some further investigation to make sure everything is done to fix the issue here.
Lastly, i want to say to all the people posting insults and negative comments about Jagex and is mods/dev team. I know its annoying when things change for what you believe to be the worse but rants on forum posts like that are not going to have any impact. When reading posts like that the admins are mostly like just going to skip over them and pay no attention because that's not the kind of community anyone wants a part of in this game.
I'm confident there is a lot of work and conversation going on behind the scenes to sort this out asap as it doesn't benefit Jagex or anyone to have unhappy players/ dead content.
