What an absolutely horrifying thing to read!

It would be "great" if you simply offered them the pre-eoc server they want (out of absolute hatred for eoc), and get it over with. With nothing more than the "offer" from jagex.. this old game doesn't DESERVE the name "Old School"!


Go away already, it's unbelievably annoying having to see one selfish person whine day in and day out about the fact that people sometimes have differing opinions.

Rather hypocritical statement. Telling me to go away with my pov.. because it differs from yours.

They said they can't and won't add pre-eoc because that would go against everything they are trying to get away from and would make their company seem weak. So like he/she said, just go away already, nobody wants you here.

I'm very disappointed that you've decided to put up the same flawed poll for f2p servers again.

1. This should not even be on a poll, for it is content that existed in 2007. Your decision to not let people play OSRS without paying is of a different nature and understandable, however please keep in mind that many paying members in 2007 also used f2p servers (the equivalent now would be *hese f2p-themed worlds) mostly for pking and warring purposes. You are withholding a feature that was simply present in 2007. These servers should not require a poll. In fact, they should have been available right from the start!

2. Even if you do believe they need a poll, the poll should be the exact opposite of how it's phrased now. These polls are to ask us which changes we want to see. You need to realize that you're in fact polling whether or not the natural situation is to be implemented. It would be a change only if these servers are not implemented. If you do insist on putting them on a poll, it should take 75% to make the change from the 2007 situation by not implementing them.

What we're seeing now is the absolutely ridiculous situation in which roughly 30% of the players are in a position to effectively veto a feature that was present in 2007, that will not affect them in any way unless they choose to, and that a great many of the players of this community returned for to begin with. It's absolutely absurd that you're letting this happen by putting a real 2007 feature on a poll, and a poorly phrased poll too.

Not really. We don't call people hypocritical for having a problem with racist/bigoted individuals, do we? "Omg ur racist against racists wow hypocrite"

It would be a different story if you were actually capable of discussing proposed changes in a reasonable manner, rather than just mindlessly shooting down everything.

It would be a different story if you were actually capable of discussing proposed changes in a reasonable manner, rather than just mindlessly shooting down everything.

So I "mindlessly" voted in favor of the f2p style world issue on this recent poll... I PROMISE to NOT make the same mistake twice.

I have as much business being here as anyone else does, so no, I won't be going away (except the occassional trip into either game to do stuff).

They said they won't add EOC. They said they would not offer a pre-eoc server... yet with all the updates you people are crying for that is exactly what will happen.. a pre-eoc server.

i dont even understand why you need to put another poll about f2p worlds... really? just add the damn worlds, how hard can it be, you dont need 100k people to tell you to add them... and fix your other damn servers while your at it jagex.

REALLY hope is gets added.

really nice questions comming in the next poll tbh.

Is there a way to(assuming "we" would allow the poll to pass) add the gwd and keep the god-styled items out of the wilderness(&all other pvp activities). Many people only seem to have a beef with it throwing off the balance of the triangle in regards to pvp.

As far as them being a non-degrading, high bonus equipment... Well, I've never liked the idea of using degrading equipment for pvm. The idea of degrading equipment(to me at least) was a powerful equipment to give you an edge over other players, at a cost.

I liked gwd. I liked the god-styled equpment. (personally I didn't have issues with them in pvp... I had issues with the chaotics, turmoil and overloads) But if people have issues with them in pvp, I say, "could we just keep them out of pvp?" Because the pvm aspect of them were not too out of balance in the scheme of things.
