I am against all forms of involuntary PvP. Therefore anything that makes it less attractive, and less profitable is a GOOD thing.
If you want PvP, go to the dual arena, clan wars, or FOG. Stop forming big mobs and rush hunting individuals for their hard earned items. It is mean. It is bullying. It is cowardly.

Money should be made earned by skillers, questers, and PvMers, and 100% definitely NOT stolen from other good, honest, decent people!


Stay out of the wilderness and those evil different style players can't even touch you. The wilderness is a lawless land of backstabbing, player killing. If you don't like PvP you SHOULD stay out. If you go into the wilderness, you accept the risk associated with it.

And I WOULD stay out of it, too. But the game forces me into the wild to complete certain quests and treasure trails, and to get certain items like ghostly robes and adze axe.

Then you are no longer being involuntarily killed. You are CHOOSING to enter an area in which you agree to be allowed to be attack by others. If you don't want to be pked, Stay out and simply don't do those clues, or get the items. You dont need ghost robes, and clues are a reward for the risk.

So you say it is ok for me to be denied access to content unless I accept to be rushed and robbed by a pack of noobs?
You're a nasty person, if this is what you believe.

Everyone should have access to ALL parts of runescape without the fear of being murdered for someone else to rub out a hard on. Those horrible people's horrible actions should not be condoned in RS.

The only problem that i fear about GWD is that the
Godswords
are very powered melee weapons, ranged would only get armadyl armour, where as melee would get both armour and 4 types of godswords to choose from,
leaving ranged with no weapons, mage with no weapons/armours, if these can be balanced, i would favour GWD
.

Range: Zaryte bow.
I used to use it all the time pre-EoC *u*

I played RS back in 2007 nd well this oldschool is not proper oldschool it is fun but.


And guys EOC is Actully kool RS needed an update and RS not first ever game to have the normal fight system wit jst one hit that how many games started off.

The G.E had replaced the old unquie trade system which was created by the players which also seen merchanting been replaced. Also Today I had fun trying to find rat meat and bear meet for a quest which in the mordern RS is now gone becuase you can go to G.E and get it and that is plain boring.
If Modern Runescape Got rid of the grand exchange i would return to Modurn Runescape

if you think EOC is bad then serouly you no idea bout game development**** like many games started with basic fight system one hit at a time no attack moves.

Wow was created based on RS so were many games.

I dont mind EOC make comabt interesting rather then boring

If I want to play with complex fighting, I play a much prettier game called Lord Of The Rings Online. Very complex battle system they have.
I liked RS because it was laid back and chillin'.

In EoC, every keystroke feels like a chore. The game is too fast paced.
Imagine you live in a quiet town with bush all around you. Then one day out of the blue a highway pops up and trucks rampage past your house 24/7... This is what EoC felt like to me...
Sure, the trucks will help the economy grow and will create jobs and lots of other wonderful things.... but I dont want that... I want a quiet, peaceful, relaxing village, and the highway robbed me of that experience.

Highway good, but not what I want in my village.
EoC good, but not what I want in the game.

Didn't participate in first poll but ya would support F2P PK world, but just make sure it auto keeps spellbook on regular (changes back to whatever book on 'member' worlds).

As for the 'others' would agree with the quests but not the others, especially gwd=no.

Suggest fairy ring 'index' though of past teleports :c

I really like all the things you're suggesting for the next poll, I'd vote yes on all of them. I'm also looking forward to each of the things you listed as a possible future update and I also support all of them, with only one condition though. If you introduce GWD, pay attention to the balance while bringing the godswords. It needs a bit of nerfing as many people already discussed on the forum. If there's ever a poll about GWD, many people will blindly vote no, but the reason they feel like that because they don't want the godswords to ruin PvP. Those people won't necessarily think it can be improved, but they'll just want the whole idea to be abandoned.

God wars is great fun to play I've spent many many hours there in the past.

But I think if you plan on releasing, you should change the way godswords work, or perhaps remove them entirely from drop list, and add less powerful but still useful weapons similar to Sara Sword (Or even more armour pieces) The reason being that Godswords are too strong for the pvp side of the game as I'm sure has been clarified many times in this thread already.

Oh and don't change runecraft, it is probably the only skills where true hard work pays off in true rewards with great money, it should be kept as challenging as it is.
