Hey, in the original Dev blog it showed in the Skill Guide that the redwood shields would be level 92 fletching, but in game, it states I need 97 fletching?

Fletching guide says 92 for redwood shield, but you need 97 to make it.

Typo, I think. It's changing to require 92 momentarily.

Also:

Magic shields require x2 magic logs to create.

However, they have the same alch value as magic long (u), which only requires 1 magic log.

Magic shields alch for 768 (2 magic logs)
Magic long (u) alch for 768 (1 magic logs)

This is the same for the maple, yew and I would assume redwood too.

Will this be changed to double?

Magic shields to alch for 1536 and double for the rest of the logs too.

The unfinished shields, much like the unfinished bows are not designed to be alched for a profit. To achieve best alch rates you'll need to add the leather & nails. This is because to alch two magic longbows(u) you'll need 2 nature runes rather than just 1 for the shields.

Perhaps it could be halfway between the two values, but I'd rather undershoot first and review player sentiment before making any rash decisions.

Redwoods now require 92 fletching. Fixed :)
But the alch value of the redwood shield is the same as yew shield alch value (968)

I wanted to make redwood logs have a use, but I'm not a fan of drastically increasing their monetary value so quickly, which would've been the case if they had a larger alch value than magic logs. Once the shield has had the leather and nails attached, the alch value is higher than the lower tier shields.

For Theater of Blood, or anything in the future maybe you can introduce a slash oriented cape. currently the Myths cape is BIS Crush, and the Ardy 4 Cloak is BIS Stab, but Infernal cape gives BIS Slash with only plus 4.
Also, if the new raids will be just as difficult but fun, they need to be rewarding obviously. I know most people don't want new BIS gear they want niche gear and that's hard to fill. But eventually tier 80 equipment will most likely be introduced into the game. Maybe behind such a challenging event would be a good place to start. This of course is just my opinion and I'm really looking forward to raids 2 either way.

For Raid 2 rewards, I suggest melee armour and weapon an slightly better version than tenticle whip, like Kodai longsword/ Abbysal longsword etc..
Keep range rewards for Raids 3 maybe? that would give you more chance to work on keeping game alive in future than flooding with items from just 1 PvM content.
Also if you dont mind rethink Lootshare its been unfair doing Raids in big teams where same people get drop.
