It does make sense to give the beta to players that have been playing longer, have accomplished more, and still play regularly. They're the ones that can really dive into all aspects of the game and test it thoroughly. I was hoping to have the app by now and I'm certainly not holding my breath on being chosen for the beta, but I appreciate the info updates and the fact that they'd rather push the date back a little and really try to make everything the best it can be, than force out a half finished product just for the sake of meeting a deadline that they initially set for themselves.

I don't mind the wait, I'm just happy it's happening.

Hi!

I have a suggestion regarding usability

I've got a suggestion for OSRS mobile. On your computer you use your right mouse key to select certain actions (for example picking up a specific item in a loot pile). How mobile usually works is, to hold your finger on a specific area to show more options (for example, moving apps on your home screen, deleting them etc). I feel that in OSRS this shouldn't be done like this because nobody wants to wait an extra second to pick up something specific or other actions. Instead I feel like there should be an extra button which should be pressed with your left finger, in order to instantly activate the 'right mouse key' on your phone. This would skip the one second waiting time. This would solve the problem of waiting an extra second all the time, because this is what I thought would be most frustrating in OSRS Mobile. I hope it's clear what I'm trying to say :p
Maybe you've already implemented this, or maybe not. Anyway, good luck building the app! Really looking forward to fish for a quarter once I wake up in bed or kill some abby demons while going to class hehe

Hope you really push to advertise this, i see so many new mobile game advertisements on my TV and all over the internet. To really reach out to new players and not only old timers, i think proper advertisement is the key. I mean this is the chance for RS to get huge again, it's pretty many players still but this could be huge as in 07 with release on mobile platforms. Just take a leap of fate and do it Jagex. I believe in you!

Just curious about this app coming in.

Still nothing from Beta testing by e-mail or anything.. Any news on a possible date after this January 8th, 2018 post? Also, any word on how to get myself noticed for Beta testing? Sadly I am in a spot where my computer won't even start.. lost mems. Mobile is much needed at this time!!!

All I would like is some info about a possible time-frame (: I understand this was moved from 2017 to 2018 and might even be another month or so..

Just wanted to at least update these questioned players within this forum search.

I signed up to the beta last year and I got no invite to it. I have been waiting months as I can't play on pc any more due to reasons. I bought membership again and not played for 2 months because I thought we would have a code or the actual release early this month. It's disappointing when I have waited so long and not got an invite or the release.
