This thread is about King of the Skill, not me. Please try to figure out what a thread is about before posting, because I won't always be there to remind you :)

Quick recap:
It wasn't polled and it was implemented anyway.
It affected the main game with a game-integrity damaging bug.
Game was not rollbacked following the bug.
It sucked up development time, not even taking into consideration the added bug issue.

This kind of issue shouldn't be easily missed and wouldn't have occurred if it wasn't for jagex trying to rush this new game mode out the window.

This competition looks like it's going to be a bit of fun. With all the skills out there and some of them being pretty easy to grind in some ways, I wonder what skills people are going to be prioritizing to max.

In comments to the complaint over this not getting polled; it's not a game-mode, it's a competition . If it were here to stay, I believe they would have polled it. But by outlook of it, it will more or less be a one-time thing, unless they wish to host another competition like this again. It would seem rather silly to make people vote to have competitions, and seeing the Devs take some time to provide a new competition for us is nice to have.

Seeing devs take time out for pointless one time competitions that only unleash bugs on the main game is a terrible waste of time and resources.

Would it be possible to allow players to continue playing after the 24 hour limit? Additional xp wouldn't apply to the highscores, but it might be fun to see what people can accomplish with 10x xp over the next month (myself included). Scapin since '07
