Hi there MastrShafter !

I very much understand and appreciate how deeply you care about Old School RuneScape and how you, by natural extension, hold firm opinions as to which directions you believe the game should and should not take. You are obviously very welcome to share your thoughts on the various updates - whether they are positive or negative. In fact, considering how OSRS is a game almost exclusively shaped by its community, sharing your honest thoughts is strongly encouraged!

However, and this is important, there is a distinct difference in continuously -- almost relentlessly -- bashing not just updates, but also the people tirelessly developing them week after week, and disagreeing in a mature and constructive manner. The latter is a great way of accomplishing a level-headed, constructive dialogue leading to appreciated changes. The former, on the other hand, achieves little more than negatively impacting everyone on the weekly threads by needlessly poisoning the atmosphere.

It is unfortunately apparent through the past many weeks that you have not only referred exclusively to the former approach, but that you have taken it up a notch by doing so utilising a disrespectful and condescending language. This despite multiple players and Jagex Moderators attempting to have a mature conversation with you. It moreover strikes me as odd and somewhat questionable that you have no posts or threads containing actual suggestions and feedback despite your frequent activity on these threads.

I would strongly encourage you to take a step back and rethink your approach: What do you actually wish to accomplish, and is your current approach ever going to get you there? I must moreover encourage you to re-read the forum rules to understand where various approaches will lead. How about tunnelling all that negative energy into generating constructive suggestions for the game you obviously are so passionate about?

Hi mexk

I read your post and yes ive played rs for 15yrs and seen the changes all the false promises the lies the corruption, and i dont want 07 going down same road.
The updates we had recently are just worthless and i voice my opinion on them and why not im a player just like others.
Then we get the trolls who chastise us for telling jagex we not happy then when we reply we get more trolled.
We have offered many suggestions and they think they know better and after a few weeks they happen yet we get no credit for suggesting them to jagex.
I have to ask why you even on an 07 thread when you come here and post when you both dont even play 07 so how would you know anything regarding 07rs.
I will continue to voice my opinion on 07 updates and you singled me out when theres many others who disagree with whats happening to 07rs.
Maybe im correct in disagreeing with these updates they giving us so they sending you to monitor what we post.
Anyway i got a business to run, no time for this today Thursday is update and forum day

Why would anyone make suggestions for updates....is that not the job of the team that is being paid for it.

I have made lots of suggestions in the past and some of them said suggestions are now in game...what did i get for it....a big fat 0 not even a thanks.

It's a sad day that the J mods need call in the forum mods in an attempt to change the way people think and post here, while they hide.

MastrShafter & Buckeyeman69, whilst I understand you may have issues with the update this week, that does not excuse using the thread to attack F-Mods, and you have both been asked to keep the thread on topic, and posts that were hidden were done for a reason, so please don't repost them as they will just be hidden again and may end eventually result in action being taken against your account, but I think we would all prefer if it didn't come to that.

If you believe that the Forum Moderator has made a mistake or acted inappropriately, please report the matter to the Forum Moderation Review sticky thread.

If you have any constructive feedback regarding the update then I will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
