You said that the Dragonfire Ward is +1 defence for each charge, with 50 charges for max.

However it says the charged stats on it have the melee defences in the 10s and 20s.

Did you mean the UN charged stats? Nope.

Yeah.. 08 doesn't matter. 08 was past runescapes prime. Breaking a logical trend in the game, just because it was broken in the inferior version of the game makes no sense.

I'm not thrilled about another grandmaster. After 2 (or so) years with no new quests, then two of 3 are grandmaster.
I only just got my quest cape back. MM2 final fights were really hard. This account is ironwoman, but my main account (11 + year veteran member) still hasn't been able to defeat the demonic gorillas.
It sounds as if the bosses in Dragon Slayer II will be much harder than Glough.

I hope it won't be as bad as I fear. Yes, I am a real life ironwoman; I am a grandmother.

Technically, there have been more than just 3 quests released in OSRS so far:

-Monkey Madness II (grandmaster)
-Misthalin Mystery (easy)
-Client of Kourend (easy)
-Bone Voyage (short but requires 100 kudos)
-Making Friends with My Arm (upcoming, intermediate/master)
-Dragon Slayer II (upcoming, grandmaster)

So it's more like 33% of OSRS-exclusive quests are grandmaster...

Would the new standard spellbook spells be used enough to warrant an entire new rune? I mean this rune is obviously going to be expensive, and in PvM I would find it hard to believe that anyone will use it. In a PvP situation it is still outclassed by ancients, I don't see the point.

That's really my only criticism. I love the idea of a new F2P addition, as well as giving them maple trees. The dragonfire ward is also a cool idea, although there are already similarly leveled items that fulfill the same roll.
Playing a game from 2007 on an account from 2005.

To be honest, there are coming to many updates and new stuff to the game. The new quest itself would be cool. But all the new guilds and items are un needed. Thegame will turn tomuch into rs3 again. And before you know you will lose your true players. This game got hypes again because RS3 wasn't fun. Its turning in rs 3 again. Not cool :| :(

All the other quests except for monkey madness 2 have been like 5 mins worth of work. I would not even call them quests, imo monkey madness 2 is the only proper quest that's been added to osrs.

I feel like this has been an ongoing issue for a while now. Looking back at the last 6-7 years on rs3 a large portion of the quests released has been master/grandmaster. And if the quest is not a higher level one, it's usually been just a 10 minute thing you rush through in an instant. It seems like mid tier quests rarely get released anymore (ironicly they were the most common ones prior to this time period). I hope osrs does not follow the same pattern with future quest releases.
I could brag about my achievements down here, I just choose not to

Sometimes i really hate these polls, sadly people will always vote for what is easiest. I don't understand why people who play OSRS want Easyscape aka RS3 back again.

If the Dragon Platebody is added to the game, should the completion of Dragon Slayer II be required to equip it?"

Jagex should overrule the voting on this one, if you had to complete Dragon Slayer to be able to wear the Rune Platebody then by logic you should have to complete DS2 to be able to wear the Dragon Platebody.
