PSA: Be careful in the swamp, guys! I almost died there - Twice! D:

But I'm loving Fossil Island so far - Still just exploring it and not totally sure of what I'm able to do, but the graphics and music are fantastic and it's so great to have all of this new content. Thanks for all of your hard work, Jagex! :D

Also re. Level 3 not being able to do Icthlarin's Little Helper - Try an iron dagger P++ I used to use it on a lot of quests when I had a skiller, the kill should count that way. :)

Oh also a spoiler below for anyone who wants an easy way to get 5 fossils -

Once you have built everything at the campsite, talk to Pan (Just West of the Rowboat at the Campsite) and he will give you 5 small fossils for free! You will need to bring 3 iron bars, 6 oak planks, 5 normal planks, 2 ropes,
1 tinderbox, 1 bucket, 3 soft clay 2 logs and 25 nails to complete this (from memory) - There is a bank chest on the Volcano so if you already have these you don't have to go all the way back to Varrock in order to build the camp bank chest. :)

i did exactly that. I tried everything :/ killed it about 20 times with a poisoned iron dagger

At the moment, 66% of CB'3 players can access Fossil Islands - unfortunately i am one of the 34% who cannot.

This is because of the Observatory Quest - 4 out of 12 times your reward might be CB XP, i got the HP XP one. If i had got one of the 8 other rewards, i could have finished this quest, talk to the historian Minas about it, and have 103 Kudos.

Now I and 34% of CB'3s in general are stuck with 98 Kudos.

This is a question for Jagex only and i don't care at all about players opinions on this.

You should be able to reach 100+ kudos as a level 3 even without observatory quest, infact u can reach about 108 kudos without observatory.

I have gained 50 Kudos by cleanings finds.
28 Kudos Orlando Smith's natural history quest.

And 20 through the quests Rune Mysteries, Shield of Arrav, Hazeel Cult and Merlins Crystal.

I can NOT do the following quests:

Tail of Two Cats - Icthlarin's Little Helper Quest required.

I killed the final boss of Icthlarin's Little Helper about 30 times. The kill never counts via ring of recoil, can not finish the quest.

Aid of Myreque - Lv 7 Magic required
Making History - Restless Ghost required (grants Prayer XP)
Observatory Quest - reward: 875 HP XP
Priest in Peril - 1406 Prayer XP reward
Temple of Ikov - 40 Ranged required
Grand Tree - 18400 Attack XP reward
What Lies Below - 2000 Defence XP reward
Curse of the Empty Lord - requires having started Desert Treasure, which requires 50 Magic

Well quite simple dont be a lvl 3
its not jagex fault you restrict yourself to all content
GET THE LVLS AND DONT CRY.

He complains about anything and everything. It's a wonder he's not complaining about the content and is instead praising it. =P

On a side note, this looks like a great update! I cannot understand why anyone would be dissatisfied... Oh, I almost forgot.

As for lvl 3s they restrict themselves from all content so how can they complain about anything.

Your argument does not make any sense. or we can tell the 1000's (maxed)or 10,000's of other players that don't restrict themselves of doing content because of their choices, ... you choose to not do content that's available for you because you don't want to raise ur cb lvl, we get that, but don't moan when content comes out that requires it, like fossil island, its actually ur argument that's invalid, u want to do fossil island, get ur lvls up so u can and survive
