The winners of each cup will become permanent fixtures in the landscape of Old School, with every winning clan getting a dedicated statue in an appropriate location somewhere in the game. If a player left clicks a statue, they will see a message boasting the victory of the clan and letting them know what cup they took.

what about statues to the teams who won the 2013 cup? you promised them

yes I know that.

can't remember who it was, think it was Mod Mat K that replied to a topic which had an idea of the statues representing clans. he started working on it and said they'll implement it, but later on when they get a new graphics artist. a promise is a promise

It is on Alfred's list, so expect the cup that is there at the minute to be replaced with something a touch fancier at some point in the future.

That was my idea, was under the RSN of Directing. Seemed like we went to a lot of effort for such little reward. He said once Jagex had a new artist they would look into making some statues for the clans that won each year, he even posted some pictures of what it could look like.

Nothing ever happened though unfortunately.

983572985635, regarding your concerns about mains being entering into the Pure Cup battles - the Defence limit is something that could be enforced.

Seems cool but as i said unfortunately its too late for my clan, we closed and moved on. The remaining pure clans will just find ways to handicap each other, via hitting off Teamspeaks/Members or whatever. It's a shame but that's something we do not want to be of

Not only that we have to give everyone else a chance to win the cup, the struggles of been the undisputed #1 pure clan to ever exist.

Mod Ronan you need a forum avatar mate. Also what is your role on the rs team?

OT - Sounds cool if you're into this type of thing I guess. Just make sure the statues or w/e that are added are not in the way or in an obtrusive location.
