switch races again, you will lose your progress of the race and start fresh on another race.

Curret race ideas: (Feel free to add more)

Gnome
Elf
Goblin
Dwarf

Each of these races (and others requested) will have their own racial abilities that make sense to their lore. There will be no actual combat abilities(EoC NEVER AGAIN), just small things that boost the ability to craft something. Dwarves could have a passive ability "Delicious Jewels" that lets them cut gems with their teeth instead of a chisel. They could also get a passive that boosts the speed of mining and smelting that builds the more they do it.

Let me know what you guys think of this, I've had this idea for races in runescape since 2006.

My idea:
PVP mini-game with exclusive PVP weapons
Name: Ruins of Champions

Back story:
Zamorak grew tired. He needed to see war and fighting to entertain himself, yet too many players teleported or ran from battle in the wilderness. On this rare occasion, Saradomin agreed: running and teleporting was dishonourable and it hurt Saradomin to see such lack of dignity within runescape whether it be in the wilderness or not. So briefly zamorak and saradomin with the help of guthix united and created an arena in the wilderness where players would fight each other till the end in a tournament. Little did Zamorak and Saradomin know however this would not last very long. Zamorak eventually wanted to see more and more fighting, whereas Saradomin slowly wanted to diminish the amount of fighting. Zamorak and Saradomin as a result began to fight and great magical power was exerted in the heavens. The best warriors in the arena were killed in the fray with their mystical weapons embed by the powerful magic in the ruins.

Location: Wilderness

How it works:
You play the game to gain champion points which can be used to claim special pvp weapons, which have special bonuses against players, from a prayer alter.
Once you enter the magic in the area seizes you and sends you to a magical plane where the arena still exists. The arena is separate from the wilderness and you wait in a waiting room with other players till there are 15 of you before the fight begins. In the arena, players are spread out and the game has 3 main phases:

Guthix phase: on death you lose your items. If you kill someone, you gain champion points.

Zamorak phase: in this phase you do not lose items, but you can only fight an opponent who you are teleported next to. The loser loses champion points the winner gains champion points. If no one is killed within this phase then no-one gains points.

Saradomin phase: everyone is teleported to a random are in the arena and poison etc. Is taken off and there is no fighting for 1 minute and you can bank at the various locations in the arena.

How opponents are chosen: To play the minigame you will need 80 in at least one combat stat: attack, strength, defence, range or mage and a combat of 60+. Players will be divised into combat 60-70,80-90, 90-100, 100-110, 110-120, 120+
The game could go in: zamorak phases, guthix phase, saradomin phase and repeated 3 times.

The rewards could be could be:
Salina’s Wand:- the wand of the best mage in the arena of the gods. 22% magic damage bonus against players. +15 accuracy, +10 magic defence. Needs recharging with at altar with champion points. Requires 80 magic to wield.

BRICIUS’s Blade:- the brutal blade of Bricius. Is a Longsword. Has a special attack which boosts your strength by the damage done divided by 3 (works ontop of pots and prayer) , only works against players, requires 60% of spec bar. Needs to be recharged with champion points.

Ospiris’s Bow:- Legendary bow of archer ospiris. Shortbow. Has 5% chance of speccing randomly of damage 1 to 40 against players. Requires 80 range to wield, requires champion points to recharge does not use arrows (+ 50 range str bonus) . +79 range attack .

Ring of honour:- requires 85 mage to use. Has to be imbued with tele block casts. When equipped in wilderness, blocks your opponent from teleporting.
This is just an idea and obviously would need refining.

Why didn't you guys do this for a RS3 Halloween event? if you had run out of ideas, you should have let us give you our holiday event ideas

its not a matter of having ideas, its a matter of what they can do. they can not add new graphics or animations. thus the best way for Halloween was to recreate it using things they already had.

''Those darn thieving imps'' (minigame).

We all know how boring mining and agility are, so heres a minigame that will (possibly) make it a little more fun. Before you get angry note the catch.

You have a cave with a room at the end, any dungeon that is long tunnel works, but getting there requires going over all kinds of agility things. There are several paths, with different levels of speed and levels needed. At the end is a mine that has every thing you could want to mine. Bronze ores are immediately available, while everything else has a number of agility requirements to get to (yes alternate paths are available so even a moderate agility level can reach the runite, just not as fast).

You can get ores faster as well as exps a lot faster, but here's the catch. You have to get it to the bank to receive the exps. getting in was easy as the imps ignored you. Trying to get out with a load and they are very interested in you. They barely notice the tin and copper, but runite gets them all over you in a flash.

Using agility and thieving, you can avoid them to some degree, but getting back with a full load is all but impossible, even with tin or copper. Getting back with 3 runite will require a lot of skill and luck.

Again, you only get the exps for the ores you manage to bank. On the trip back you can get exps in thieving and agility, depending on which course you take and which imp you defeat.

The advantage of this is that you get agility without having to go around in circles, which makes it boring. You get thieving exps without constantly pick picketing, which gets boring. The amount of exps you get is similar to what you get at different levels, so this isn't a way of getting fast exps, but is a way to get them doing things that are a bit more fun.

If you fail at any of the agility obstacles, you get stunned which means you cant stop the imps from stealing from you. Lower levels obstacles aren't failed, but you spend more time, thus are a bigger target.

Brutal Dragons now have the possibility of dropping Dragon metal shards rarely that can be attached permanently to rune claws to obtain Dragon claws with 5 shards.

this is an interesting idea, but why limit it to only dragon claws. shards can be attacked to things like rune picks to make dragon picks (with suitable smithing levels) or rune crossbows to make dragon crossbows (with suitable fletching) or other rune items that have no dragon companion.

Sorry I took so long to reply.
I only included Dragon Claws because that was the last Dragon item needed to be introduced because my other ideas introduced everything else. I wrote later in my post about the Dragon pickaxe.

One Dragon item I left out were Brutal Dragon Arrows (Hey, We could drop them from Brutal Dragons; Makes sense), the problem with adding them would they would be near useless on release because I'm almost certain that Brutal arrows can only be fired from Ogre/Composite Ogre Bows. We could introduce an upgrade to Ogre Bows, but I don't want to skew off on another tangent with Ogre lore/upgrades.

The other item I didn't include was the Dragon Crossbow, as you said but I have a reason for this. The Rune crossbow and the Armadyl crossbow have requirements of 61 and 70 respectively, I don't think I can fit another crossbow into that range as I think it would devalue the Armadyl Crossbow which we just introduced, and the range bonus would have to be like +95, because of the Rune Crossbow's and Armadyl Crossbow's range attack bonuses at +90 and +100. Not to mention the possibility of making a special attack on it, which would further devalue the recently released Armadyl crossbow. Though I think your idea might fix this, if we just add some metal shards onto the Rune Crossbow with a Smithing/Fletching requirement and keep the range requirement the same, I think I have something to work with.
